I could have easily bought a Tuono or S1000R, but I bought the Z1000 because there is nothing else like it on the road. For me, a naked bike is about style and emotion, not quickest lap times. The Aprilia and BMW are soulless and clinically boring. I do admit the KTM Super Duke is an exception and it does look quite good, in fact I think it was probably even styled after the 3rd gen. Z1000's looks, BUT we all know about KTM reliability (or lack thereof) and I want to spend my time riding my bikes, not wrenching on it...

I have a 2009 Honda CB600FA Hornet and thinking of switching to this one as I believe it would be more stable at above 140km/h and a lot less wind. Is that the case? I also like the more aggressive and aerodynamic look of it. Is this a good upgrade for a city/cross-country bike and mid-range trips of up to 300 km a day? I am not a fan of super sport bikes and more into Tourer/Street bikes like the Hornet. What do you guys think?

Z1000 looks like a rhyno is coming to stampade....so agressive looks in a naked bike. We should salute kawasaki engineers for this.

I have a 2013 Z1000. The bike is so insane most riders will not be able to find roads to take full advantage of what it has to offer. And if a road is found, most riders will not be able to keep pace with the bike. Like the 2014 Z, the 2013 Z is also heavy. It feels top heavy. It can corner for sure but it takes work. You need to get your body in position before the turn, not like some bikes that you can just 'flick' into a corner. If you are facing multiple corners you will have to move your body around a lot, quickly jumping from one side of the bike to the other. It can be a workout but totally exhilarating.

PD.. ur videos r realy awesme. I 'm quite a fan of ur videos. Bt from nxt time, when u give review of any bike.. while riding pllz make sure u don't give any xtra sound other than the sound of bikes. I wana hear it. Wana hear how bikes rev-up, their high pitching. Coz that's what a bike is made for. N that's why we Boys r made for, i.e for Bikes.

well.. i was going for this bike before i got on my pc today. but after watching this video i think i have to run down to the local kawasaki dealer and just go balls deep with my wallet ASAP. god this video was pure art, as is the bike. this video, and the slick design and joy of the kawasaki z1000r is the reason i love motorcycles as much as i do. - 20 year old rider.

I absolutely adore the kwacker Z1000. Its menacing front end...and looks absolutely stunning when seen in person...not pictures or vids. Good to hear that the wind Blast is well sorted to. !!!

Awesome video. Im torn between the suzuki s1000 and this bike. I think the z kills it in the looks department compared to the suzuki, but i havent ridden either so im not sure which ill like better. Im 6'3 200lbs, how is this bike for a taller rider?
