All those bolts that hold the engine together look like they’ve been worked on. So pull the plugs, examine, if that’s ok🤔 pull the timing cover off right side bottom behind that reservoir. Then you will be able to turn the crank w socket. My suspicion is it’s locked up. In your case no biggy just swap er out.
Im a Honda man but i would be unhappy not saying that i have been a 🥷 fan from like 7,8 years old. Im in Rochester hope to see you on the road hopefully this spring wouldn’t mind riding with you bro 😎 what county are you in?
Bump start it, then check the gear near the starter clutch, there is two gears, one that looks like the starter clutch before it goes to the gearbox, called the idler gear, if the thing bump starts, it's one of those gears not aligned. If the previous owner messed with the starter, it's easy to put em back and not align the idler gear properly. The engine is probably fine since we didn't even hear it turn over, don't do more work than you have to.
I already tried. It doesn’t bump start, just spins. I already replaced the starter and make sure they were aligned. Nothing. I believe the engine is Iocked up or something. I will be swapping the engine
By the way trying to turn that starter clutch w your finger while it’s in the engine is like trying to turn over the engine with your finger. It will turn by finger, if it’s not in the engine
Is not so hard. To change the starter clutch. You will see the rest of the engine if is ok. The gearbox etc.try to make a comprension test before putting the engine back
