Reaper 9R lining up to do a couple fun roll-races with the Triumph Rocket 3R 2500cc Triple which is stock and shaft driven. 3 runs, 2, 40 rolls and a 30 roll.
I guarantee you that if I pulled up my 2023 3R next to a bmw m1000R/s1000rr or Ducati streetfighter, I will nearly good more looks and amusement from people than those other two bikes...hehe..with that said, all the torque in the world ain't gonna help the rocket 3R to beat any supersport motorcycle. But, I would rather grow, with age, into the rocket 3R than to do it with a ninja h2 or s1000RR or m1000rr for sure.
fun runs but this Triumph is a beast on the low end with torque its just too heavy and doesnt spin up fast enough but still a fun bike that runs 10s in the quarter

It's not a good comparison, because the Rocket cut around 236 km/h or 145 mph. The 6th gear it's only for cruising not for increase speed. Stock map is highly restricted but, when somebody open the file, it can put 240 hp at rear wheel doing a 7000 rpm top with 275 Km/h. Stock can make 10.5 seconds in quarter mile. Unloked version can make over 10 seconds, but rear wheel is always burning.
We started on a 40 roll. Lol 100+mph swing is more than enough for a comparison. This ZX9 is highly modded and runs 9s in the quarter. The rocket 3 has more torque yes. Even if it was 240hp to the wheel, it's still over 200lbs heavier than the 9 not including rider weight.
The top end rpm is a limitation, because even if the run is planned for that speeds, the Rocket can't jump in the next gears. If you unlocked the limitation for 1000 rpm more, the bike brings anothe 40 horsepower. Also don't forget that torque is double than Kawi, but weight is not double.
@@motoflash6591 well you ain't getting 40hp more from a flash only and 1000rpms 😂😂😂 the rocket 3 is 165hp stock (this 9r makes about 170 to the wheels) so the rocket would need a lot more than a flash because its shaft drive and you cant gear it.

@@dr.jillalicecooper2587 well yeah it's got heavy engine modifications. Lol no turbo or spray but big bore, high compression etc etc. Lol wouldn't be anywhere close to the Rocket 3 if not.
