I have Kawasaki ZZR400... I need to know that when me drive my bike for 4 to 5 kilometres then my bike could not start again quickly... I need to wait for 10 to 15 minutes, then bike start in half self ...... Please advice me what is the main issue of it... I have installed new carburettor also but problems remain same...
could be fuel delivery from gas tank. try putting a fuel container and let fuel flow through gravity, then run the engine with a fan to support air flow. if the same issue exists, that could be a CDI problem.
@@theshopman1571 i got a kawasaki zzr 400 as well only the motor is now in a go kart. Ran mint before i took the motor out of the bike and when i put it into the kart it ran fine as well. When i got it it was full of water from moisture in the air from sitting around so i changed the oil and it ran mint but since i started it when first in the kart and running mint and two years later after finishing the monster project it started running like utter crap all of a sudden. It would turn over and over and over and eventually it would start to want to go with choke on and no pedal and then id go around the block to test and after two laps i drove back to the shed and switched it off and then did a start test to see if it would start better warmed up but same thing would really struggle to kick over and thought it wasnt getting enough gas so i added a quarter turn on each until i got it to fire and was alot better but when i went to drive it would hesitate getting up to full revs and after the run i turned it off then went to start and started but seemed hesitant then i turned it of and on just to double check and it went back to winding and winding over and no go again. Carbs have been cleaned and there was damage to the carbs but thats repaired only thing to check thouroughly is leads. Looked old but ok. But thats really just a guess. If it was leads like the usual ones of today id borrow a set to test but its got old style with just a solid copper wire in centre and the leads at the coil ends were screwed onto a single screw sticking out of the coil and the cap is what holďs the lead tight onto the coil. I dont have much money so rather replace just whats required if i can. But if you could give me information And some ieas as to what you think is wrong it would be very much appreciated. Im in nz
