Kawhi Leonard finished with a career high in points (25.5 per game) and rebounds (5.8) as he led the San Antonio Spurs to the second best record in the NBA. Enjoy the best highlights from his stellar season.
I'm not making any comparisons in terms of accomplishments but simply in terms of style of play, Kawhi Leonard plays so similar to the GOAT Michael Jordan, defensively he's a monster and offensively he has a killer mindset and identical play style in some of these highlights. He does already have 1 ring & finals MVP, and 2 defensive POY, and is in regular season MVP talks and could be possibly acquiring CP3 this offseason? Man this guy can be something special, more than he already is. It's not a coincidence he's signed with Jordan brand either.
Rashaad S your crazy this dude can average 28+ if he wants to. He’s basically the best player in the league because he can do what he wants and you really can’t name something he doesn’t do 🤷🏾♂️
Kevin Rosales Facts bruh near Identical to Jordan even those dunks how he palms the ball he only needs those crazy layups and it would be like we are watching Jordan
facts, I don't what Kawhi I see now, but that zaza injury, and that injury he was suffering in the middle of 2018 messed up a lot of his speed athleticism, defense, and pull up js
As a Spurs fan this particular year was a joy to watch… We felt this was our future, obviously a year later Kawhi wanted to leave. Hopefully Wemby can get us back to this joyful feeling.
golden state won half of the games in the series by like 10-15 points vs the spurs bench imagine if kawhi and parker would have played.... not saying they would have won, but FOR SURE it would've been a great series
Thon Maker theirs a difference between the Bulls and the Spurs you know?that is a good point but that's not what I'm trying to say ,all I'm saying is that the series could have and should have gone down to the wire ,even if it's the Warriors ,the only teams capable of beating the Warriors is the Spurs and the Cavs .
Angela Jackson 2014 honey. kawhi is too good for lebron already I'm telling you hes the best rn. best closer in the game. he shows it. how many game winners in this vid? my man
Does the best posterizer of the year Jogs back to the other end of the floor with an emotionless look on his face Blocks one of the best players in the NBA in the clutch Jogs back to the bench with an emotionless look on his face
Man next season this man Will be on a mission, he just missed the most important games of this season, because of injury, that has to be heartbreaking after a Whole season of hard Work. I Wouldn't be suprised if he comes in and avrgs 30 5 and 5 With 2 steals per game and becomes the MVP.
So much of spurs offensive burden is on Kawhi, unlike D-green who has 3 all-star shooters on his team. But for Kawhi to still be in discussion for best defensive player in the league is Jordan-esque! And at the age of 25...
He’s the player he is today because of his time with the spurs and he wasn’t injury prone before 2018. Spurs kawhi will always be the best version of KL. You wouldn’t have seen kawhi winning it in Toronto if not for his experiences on a dynasty with one of the greatest coaches of all time.
better player than durant, almost same level shooter with curry, can dribble inside like james, in a few years this guy will dominate the nba. Also he is so nice, and kind.
Imnotcreative Imc before injury he was an amazing shooter like durant, and you know that durant is almost same level as curry. I meant he can go into the paint easily like lebron.
It’s actually such a shame that Kawhi’s career has in large part been savaged by injuries. I genuinely think you’re looking at a potential top 10 player ever had things fallen his way.
This man regardless what anyone says, is one of, if not the most competitive player behind maybe Westbrook. What makes him special is he doesn't have to talk about it
Does he have a weakness? He has the handles, drive game, playmaking ability, block ability, mid range, deep range, lockdown, free throws, and still has potential lol dude is basically the best player in the league and i would pick him over anyone to start a season with
+Ryan Cure He is the best BUT HES OLD. What don't you get about that? 5 years isn't shit. Kawhi will be great for another 8 years at least. And btw in 2 years LeBron will not be better than Durant or Kawhi. Hes going to be less athletic and have to play less minutes. So would I want a 99 Overall for two years or a 96 for 8? Easy. Kawhi.
What a player. How could you not love this guy? Works harder than anyone in the league. Humble and not to mention A FUCKING MONSTER BOTH WAYS OF THE COURT. I hope kawhi has an amazing career and bring 4 more rings to spurs like Duncan did.
Man, even though the raptors won the title and kawhi was great this year, he still hasn't looked the same athletically since he got injured. He looks much quicker and springy here.
Zaza robbed us of his prime. It's a good thing he won with the Raptors, I don't see him winning anything with the Clippers, this playoffs was his best chance and sadly he got injured.
@@fatezero8662 Kawhi has the biggest injury problem he just got injured again this playoffs sucks we never get to see him go all the way in the playoffs. He's a big game changer
I'm not gonna lie kawhi is one of the most exciting players to watch offensively and defensively. He doesn't even have emotion when he scores he just continues to play. He became my favorite player in 2017. Best part is that he's only 25 years old. Next year he should be in his prime.
Kawhi today is still a freak. But have to admit he was more clutch in the 2016-17 season compared to now the 2018-19 NBA season with the Raptors. I hope Kawhi proves me wrong though
Boy will I miss David Lee. Him and Pau were so happy to play with Kawhi, and Leonard deserves teammates as selfless as those two. I know this is a Kawhi highlight video, but it's a team sport, and there's only a highlight tape because of his great team.
I'd rather get D-Rose..... he's similar to TP, they both have good floaters, good finishers and the rim, and both don't average as many assists as Chris Paul does... which means D-Rose doesn't have to have the ball much.... he just has to be healthy
