Welcome to the Dare to Dream Collection, where I give you a closer look at high heat sneakers from the past and pairs that have a significant meaning in sneaker history! In today's video, I break down the Kaws x Air Jordan 4 Retro "Grey", which released back in March of 2017! This collaboration with the renowned street artist gave us one of the most sought after Jordan 4s ever with a full suede upper and a premium finish!

These are a friggen grail. These are one of the few shoes I would just display in a box as I'm not sure if I could wear it. I love the black pair too but you can really see the details on this shade grey much better. I love this series Sean keep it going!

“You guessed it, it’s done in suede” lmao. Sean, honestly, would you/have you ever worn these? This would have to be an art piece for me, couldn’t wear them, would be too paranoid about getting them dirty. I was looking at my dark grey 12s the other day and they look like they’ve never been worn, I take such immaculate care of them because of the material.

Yeah I've worn them twice, but I'm super careful / paranoid to be honest. The surging resale price isn't helping either lmao.

These are definitely holy grail retros. There are for display not to wear at all. Straight up collectors items.

Speaking the truth. I don’t wear my retros all the time only on occasions. Once I’m done it’s back in the box on cold storage. Like right now I have 4 pairs I haven’t worn out. If I had those pair now. It would be in glass like a trophy. But you will have some crazy nut wearing them out, showing off, and next thing it’s tore up to the floor up…

IMO, the retail price is fair. I can’t think of an even one half decent reason to justify paying resale so high. It’s a shoe, a Nike to boot, at the end of the day. Period. IMHO.

“It’s a shoe, a Nike to boot” I hate resellers as much as the next guy, but that’s a dumbass comment lol Nike is literally the number 1 brand in the global sneaker market with a recently reported $28 *billion* dollar fiscal year. Nike’s and Jordan’s are THE shoes that keep the reseller market afloat BECAUSE they are Nike’s/Jordan’s. It’s what collectors want.

These are way up there on my grail list but probably unattainable. Black pair slightly more affordable but cool grey is my #1 Jordan colour way. I dig this series Sean, keep it going. 💪

Great review. Tbh I‘ve never been a fan of the kaws aj4 or kaws itself. It‘s a cool idea and many people love it, but I just like the look of the shoe.

in my opinion, I dont think they’re hype enough! I love my KAWS 4 (major W got it for retail in 2017) but looking at the market price in comparison to some of the Off-White Nike collabs, it seems like some of the Off-White Nike stuff may be either overhyped cause some are priced identically to the KAWS 4s
