A question burning on my mind this morning was, who are the three most successful men and three most successful women in the world today? The answers given were all in terms of wealth and fame, but the real and true answers, of course, are the men and women who've stored up their treasures in heaven. About 6 months ago, our church's women's ministry listened to a very famous female Christian who interviewed Kay Arthur when this famous female had young children, and she appeared to mock Kay's responses to how she spends so much quantity and quality time with God. I was appalled. There is absolutely no better use of our time than sitting at the feet of Jesus, whether we are raising two young children or twelve. Not only are we storing up treasures for ourselves, but we are teaching our children how to store up treasures for themselves. I don't know who the 3 most successful men and 3 most successful women in our world today currently are, but I know what they do: they do exactly what Kay Arthur does! They sit at the feet of Jesus worshipping him and learning directly from his Spirit and his Word.
Does Kay Arthur have a podcast or an online study series or something? She no longer comes on television here in Orlando, FL. I loved her 30 minute teaching segments.
