Except he didn't riot. He was clearly too poorly for prison though, and his lawyer told the court this and yet was stiffed with three years for non-crime of saying stuff some people don't like. Maybe 'your side' should take a step back and think about where this hate of any opposing view will end.
Kay Burley is out of order- its time she was replaced. She shows no respect to Labour ministers yet is the opposite to Tories in the shadow cabinet. In a recent interview with Cameron, 'yes my Lord' etc etc- nauseating. A closet Tory.
Kay Burley doesn't interview Labour mps. She argues with them. She tries to discredit them, she tries to disguise her bias as pushing back, but she gives Tory/Reform mps an easy ride every time. I much prefer people like Mehdi from Al Jezera. You're guaranteed an honest interview from him.

Whats happened with Kay Burley in recent months, her behaviour towards Labour representatives is really disgusting. She looks like she has a bad smell under her nose unless she is interviewing a Tory(usually male) when she bats her eyelashes and giggles. So no bias there then. I guess she has to do as she is told by her Sky bosses.
She's always been like this, it just takes time to see through her carefully constructed facade of being a non-biased, tough talking journalist... Reality is she's just a Tory with a strong Tory bias, plain and simple.
It's so clear the difference in interview style when either Conservatives are in power or labour. Laura Kuenssberg, Kay Burley, Nick Ferrari to name a few. The one I really noticed was the way Laura Kuenssberg interviewed Angela Rayner over the freebies compared to interviews she has done with senior MPs while Conservatives were in power. Laura was borderline abusive towards Angela. I put a complaint into the BBC to point this out. Their response to my complaint was completely unacceptable. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person who has complained about her
I really find her style of interviewing atrocious when she asks a question then butts in before the answer is given. People think she is incisive, actually, she is rude for talking over people. Awful.
Labour need to grow some balls with the right wing bias of the press. Kuensberg and Bruce as part of the nations paid for by the public broadcaster should be sacked forthwith. For sky with Burley, Phillips Ridge Coates et al, the answer is to simply boycott their shows.
There is two prong attack currently against labour, the Press and social media and the right wing has so many bots on those social platforms and unfortunately too many people believe the lies. Dont get me wrong i dont agree with some of what labour has done and if the disability/sickness thing is true then I will not agree with that but we dont know what is to come until the budget.
When you compare our rate of imprisoning people to the Netherlands for example it seems clear that jail is not appropriate for many criminals who are sent there. Jail should be for the dangerous, and the repeat offenders, with other solutions for the rest. If we spent as much on educating and rehabilitation as we do on imprisonment perhaps we would have fewer criminals. The problem is that we have an anally retentive culture that like punishing rather than helping people.

Why is the silent bit remaining silent - that means that 'several times in the past' TORY governments have brought the justice system to the point of collapse. Concentrate on what's NOT being said. Also, several similar issues can be a 'crisis', that's a digital state - 'crisis' or 'non-crisis'. The underlying figures, however, are on a scale so that each declared 'crisis' can be subjectively worse than the others. So, with the still extant COVID case backlog AND the current number of available cells, is this subjectively worse than any previous 'crisis'. Sounds like the answer is 'yes'. What's so difficult to understand here from an unbiased interviewer? Nothing. The only explanation ( Occam's razor) is a biased Tory hack interviewer. BBC...check.
Yep, with no previous convictions. Or is it illegal to be a 'conspiracy theorist' or 'anti-authority' in the UK? There are plenty of people on both sides of the isle who are anti-authority.

Thanks for highlighting this. In my opinion Burley is a disgrace to the profession. Egotism and bias are not good qualities for a "journalist". She shows this time and again. Sky news has many excellent presenters and correspondents but Burley has forced me to turn over too times. Will personally be boycotting the channel until they get shot of her! (that'll show them) 😂❤👍
If you can’t do the time don’t commit the crime ! Every person arrested and sentenced at all of the riots were arrested and sentenced under Tory Laws or Laws the Tories felt they liked over a 14 year period !
