Madhavan too for me is a Pan India star, brilliant actor. Kay Kay, outright awesome. Divyendu, OTT has made him a household name. Babil, talented son of a legendary father
I often wonder why he's still considered to be underrated in Tamil Cinema. For a person who had such a stellar run as a romantic lead in the early days.
@@TriedRefusedProductions He is not underrated in Tamil Cinema. Its just that when Vijay and Ajith transitioned into Action and commercial stars, public lost interest in romantic commercial movies and Actors like Madhavan, Shaam, Prashanth etc who were chocolate boys couldn't fit into Action genre well. Madhavan having had a good break in Hindi Film Industry due to RHTDM and Rang De Basanti by then ( thanks to his North Indian childhood) managed to sustain well over the years and had enough work to survive in both industries.
Madhavan's answer regarding the AI is so logical that it can be used as a legitimate answer in a technical interview. I can definitely say that as a software engineer! Great interview Jammy!
I'm a Victim of Bhopal Gas Tragedy , massive than CHERNOBYL later in 1986 . This series portrait as it was a devastating event that shook the entire city and left a lasting impact on its residents. As a medical student at Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal, I was thrust into the heart of the crisis and witnessed the immense suffering and chaos that ensued. It was the night of December 2, 1984, when a toxic gas leak occurred at the Union Carbide pesticide plant in Bhopal. The Bhopal Gas tragedy will forever remain etched in my memory, serving as a constant reminder of the fragility of human life and the need for vigilance in preventing such disasters from happening again.
The fact that they built the whole setup of railway station so beautifully and perfectly shows their dedication towards their work.Great respect to them.
This is gold! The legends in a riveting conversation with the right questions. Well done Jammy! KK is amazing and so is Maddy.❤️ Everyone I see Baabil on screen … I see Irrfan and miss him so much .❤
the way Babil was listening to Kay Kay talking about the crafts so intricately was probably the most of us watching this interview lmao.. I would've loved a longer interview but let's be honest, even an hour would feel short.
Kay kay menon is an acting institution in himself. That distinction beteween theatre and cinema ❤ I could listen to that man for hours talking about craft.
Kay Kay Menon is a legend!!! Only he could have done justice to the Jack Nicolson role in Shaurya.. And his debut in Paanch, is still one of greatest ever..Hope he goes on and on..Thanks for this awesome interview!!
Loved how Kay Kay Sir explained the difference and intricacies b/w the theatre and cinema and it was so apt.Truly he’s a Legend and deserves so much more man🥹🤌❤. Can’t wait for his performance in Railway Men. Loved the interview Jammy. Best wishes❤
Hey Anmol, I don't know whether my words will reach to you or not, yet lemme tell you that I've been watching your videos from the days of covid lockdown and the knowledge, vocab, right tone of expressing your thoughts with honesty, it's just so amazing. The interviews are a bonus to your subscribers and love the way you only stick your questions on the basis of the films and their crafts, because we've seen interviewers poking unnecessarily into the artists personal lives. Believe me, when I say that there are people who don't want that and are investing their time into interviews to learn the approaches towards the challenges one faces. You've been great and I hope that you just keep doing the same. Wishing more n more success to you...
This means a lot to me. I often wonder whether I should stick to low brow easily clickable videos that guarantee engagement but comments like yours makes me believe there is genuine interest for discussions like this. ❤️
@@TriedRefusedProductionscarry on the way you have been doing. There are people who have genuine interest in the craft of the actors rather than their personal lives. Do it for them.
I share the same views. My husband and I have been watching TRP since the pandemic and enjoy your content, Anmol! However, I noticed that the sound quality could be improved. It's a bit difficult to hear your voice as clearly as the interviewees' - maybe you could adjust your microphone levels. Keep up the great work!
Jammy bhai , what a great interview. Tight interview with very intelligent and tight questions. Happy to pay my internet bills for this. Miles to go bhai❤
Kay Kay Menon is phenomenal in whatever role he does. I can listen to him speak about films for hours as he has so many insights. He is so so under utilized and so so underrated Its a shame really on Indian Cinema that he is undervalued in such a manner
Long back when i saw Gulaal, it was first 15 min kay kay sir's monolouge and i was stoned. When he speaks you just want to listen him uninteruppted. Lucky you jammy
KK babil and madhavan were excellent in the series, was expecting four together in any scene but didn’t see them together. KK always extraordinaire but babil looks surreal, looks like he is a senior with his acting skills. R madhvan again excellent
This was such a brilliant interview. I love how Jammy does his homework before sitting for a interview. This interview had great questions, great casts and our Jammy who is in the roll lately. Hope to be there with you always. Keep going man. Love from Nepal.
The clinking of the ice in Madhavan sir’s coffee is distracting to say the least 😂 Brilliant interview, Anmol. I believe the film industry is blessed to have a well-versed and knowledgable interviewer like you. And the actors must feel so ‘seen’ that you only and only talk about their careers. None of the rapid fire nonsense that I see elsewhere
Great interview...madhavan and kay kay menon were a delight to listen to ...and babil is such an adorable person...handsome and talented too...great interview
This is it! Kudos to the team, in choosing to create the railway station, technically well studied, instead of choosing only alternate vfx graphics creation only. No wonder this show speaks quality, which is more effective and appreciated by the audiences 👍
I still visualize KK'S last Scene when he is being confronted by his Son😊😊The mindset body language and eyes And A person who is tryin to get on his consiousness was Superbly potraid by kk Sir
When you see Kay Kay Menon speaking with interest, conviction and engages like this.. you know that the interviewer has hit all the right spots! Have been watching your videos since COVID days and must tell you that you are doing a brilliant job. Try to do more interviews.. that's a skill you have. It is hard to find sensible and intellectual interviews with actors and filmmakers which is sad. Days are gone when most people were interested in gossip. Intellectual stimulation is what we expect from these interviews. For entertainment, we can go and watch a masala movie.
Just had to add my comment. 1. Great interview and keeping calm with great actors 2. Great set of questions pertaining to the project and not unnecessary probing into actors personal lives 3. Great research done by you about all the actors previous projects and debuts and correlating it 4. Proud to see how far you have come and happy to be your subscriber from long before 5. All the best for further interviews with stars in future!!!
Missing sunny Ahuja here and Dibyendu both !! But extremely well made series .. we 90s kid only read about the horror and here the director sends us to the actual world !! Congratulations!!
This series is superb. It's so well made. And the actors did a fabulous job. Plus loved how they tackled with the whole social scenario of those times. Really worth watching.
I absolutely love the series…and wanted to see more of Babil and Mandy…KK was just too good as usual.. the event was very well put together…and Juhi also was amazing…the story was indeed touching…I was into tears by the end of the series.. kudos to the whole team…👏👏👏👏 my favourite series was when the station master is blamed for stealing money and then the robber putting it back as now he is indeed a changed man… and in the end KK telling him that all the while he knew he came to steal…❤❤ and not to forget that song ..ek rasta hai zindagi, jo them gaye to kuch nahi..kids was amazing yaar.
I really had a wish that Irrfan Khan and Kay Kay Menon work together in a film...😢 We did not saw them together but atleast we have Irrfan Khan Sir's son Babil performing with Kay Kay Menon...
They were together in Mumbai Meri Jaan, Haider , Life in a Metro but didn’t have any major scene together…but but they had worked in a together in a serial in 90s called Darr directed by Anurag Kashyap’s brother Abhinav Kashyap and also in a movie Kaali Salwaar Together where they acted in one Scene together.🥰🙌🏻
Just finished watching the series and am awed mightily at the making.... the acting.,.. The writing....!! Can't get any better. Some serious talent all of them. KK and Maddy are universities of acting in themselves. ...... And watch out for Babil.. This kid is here to stay... And even fill the gap of Irfan Khan... tremendous talent..also humble to the earth....rare soul.
Hi Jammy! Abz here and I've been watching your content for quite a few months now and your content is just inspiring. I've also binged the show and imagine my pleasant surprise when I see you've already interviewed the cast and crew of The Railway Men. It's an absolute pleasure to see and hear the interview for the show. I always look forward to seeing your videos whenever it decides to drop. Keep it up man.
1:44 "no no" 2:44 "yeah but you know" 3:37 "no the performance.." 6:31 "no no it did" Great interview jammy just make sure to use the word NO just only when is necessary cuz i think people don't like listening the word NO as a response.
First of all I really appreciate Jammy for asking such beautiful questions unlike other interviewers who are busy conducting game sessions or asking personal questions like hobbies, relationships etc. Secondly I loved KKs answer to theatre vs cinema question where he said that both requires different set of skills whereas there are people who are busy criticising cinema as inferior and theatre medium being superior eg. jammy’s rocket boys interview where Jim Sarbh had that arrogance that theatre is everything and so on. Third Maddy’s answer to advent of AI in cinema was so apt and clear. Kudos.
As a Railway Men myself, the speech by Madhavan as GM gave me tears and surely that particular scene did lift motivation of many other Railway Men towards uplifting Safety Conciousness and Empathy towards Passengers. Hats off to the team😢
Wow... This is the kind of interview we as viewers would love to watch.. Thanks to Anmol for doing this interview and asking great relevant questions to fetch great answers from these genius actors... Lovely stuff...
I have been following Jammy since the initial days..from reviews...dance vdos to taking interviews as these...he has come a long way and I am really glad he did
I m looking at babil only. Listening to them instead of interrupting and point his own pov like some others do. So lucky to hv worked with great actors like KK and Madhavan. The way KK explaining stuffs about technicalities and nuances of cinema and theatre, that's a man with experience speaking, and u would want him not to stop speaking❤ my father is in railways and I've seen him and other staffs do their work, you'll understand the things they do is so mere and small but is so important for smooth running of the whole railway organisation to work. I loved the series❤❤❤
This series is an eye opener we never knew wht happened tht night how did some actually survive. The gas leak is we all learnt abt but wht really happened really gives goosebumps. A grt8 series .
Feels really good to see Jammy doing so well. All of my latest movie watches are the one's recommended by you. Just some observations regarding the interview. Everytime a panel member is explaining something (especially in the initial moments) you were countering it with No, no phrases. It shows a lot of impatience. Plus your interviews have a lot of words. Might be better to put out less words and then while in the discussion or the comeback question you should add your insights.
What a show, hats off to all team specially hearty star cast like K.K.Menon Sir, Madhavan Sir, Babil & all etc steal the show..kudos to director Shiv rawail 👏🏻♥️🙌🏻💯
