Those Spotted bass fight like Calico’s I’ve caught Calico’s that where around 12 in. but man did they fight. I love how the always try & take you right into the rocks or seaweed.
I don't know how you hold those things by the mouth lol? They have little tiny, sharp teeth...Whenever I caught barred, or spotty's I just held them gently through the gills, even the larger kelp bass lol screw that man but cool fishing trip!
that is one of the best parts about salted bass, show your friends your torn up thumb after a good day, its a really good day when you have it all the way down your palm from the big ol #4 pencil lipped ones
@@johnhanley9059 Haha very true, even fresh water bass can tear up your thumb, but usually it's only the biggons who can do that! I will say however, fresh water bass I can actually hold by the mouth because those tiny teeth are not so pronounced compared to salt water bass
