Congrats on the PB man!! These are so much fun to fish. I kept a 34.25” the other day because it was an otherwise slow day and I needed some meat to give to a guy for fixing my shower but I have regretted keeping it. I like your idea over 30” let them go. Have fun and good luck brother
No judgement here. I’ve just seen others keep under 30 and adopted that mentality, especially if it is on a fry. Great job on the 34.25. I hope to get one that big some day.
Great video Colin. Congratulations on the PB. I will admit that they are a super fun fish to catch. I think I enjoy catching them more than stripers. I just caught my PB the other day at 34 in and I'm guessing around 12lbs or so. Will try to hook up this fall and maybe go do some tog fishing together. Another favorite fish of mine to catch!
The fold up board is yak gear. The lure is a top water lure called the drag n pop. I bought it from a veteran owned company called tactical fishing co. tacticalfishingco.com/ I like trying to support veteran owned businesses and this one actually paid off for me with this catch.
First time watching your videos, WAW, congrats from France for that work to catch em good on the frog. I love the kayak setup to, i want to buy a fish finder for mine but is it really usefull?
@@alexandremalbec9732 thanks for watching. The fish finder is not very useful for the type of fishing in this video, although it does help with depth so you don’t break your pedal drive. I mainly use the fish finder for when I fish the bay or the ocean. If watch some of my other videos you will see how and when I use it.
