This that same river you did a camping trip video series of a few years ago? With a few other guys that had previously been stranded by flash flood. It had some rapids you guys had to go through. Or was that the… Bezos River..? Those were some of my favorite videos of yours. This river looks awesome though. Super nice n peaceful.

Please inform Max about strainers and their danger in moving water. That tree was not a danger, but one lower in fast moving water can be very bad. If you end up in one, the best thing to do is lean into it, keeping the bottom of the kayak facing into the direction of water. If you lean away from it, you will get rolled and potentially trapped against branches underwater by the force of the water. No bueno.

You’re absolutely right!!! Max saw that happen to me on that same stretch of river about two miles into a 20 mile trip. Lost my shoes, a GoPro, the firewood, food, dignity….. not only once, but twice in the same night.
