Kayak Fishing with the EmmRod

Went kayak fishing with the EmmRod. Able to fish the point at Brockdale Park on Lake Lavon Sunday. Was a tough go with lots of wind to deal with. No worries... White Bass and Yellow Bass were on the point.
Planned to sight cast to boiling fish with the fly rod but it turned out the fish were staying down below.
Good thing we had the EmmRod and Slab and Jigs Rigs as a backup... ended with four keepers!
Fun stuff... Shout out to the Gentleman who hooked us up with two Crappie! Made tasty dinner... pan fried fillets in garlic, butter, and olive oil! ***

We were at Collin Park Saturday. Should have brought kites...glad to see ya back on Lavon!

How do you like that emmrod? All hype or legit? I’ve been thinking of picking up one for camping, canoe fishing and on shore casting.

I like it for ease of access. Can keep it in the back of the car seat and it is ready when wanted. Plus it's virtually unbreakable... do prefer the longer rod that came with their fly rod. Been swapping it back and forth from the kayak to fly rod and vice versa... bayonet connection works on either handles.
