Looks like a cool project. Good move replacing the puck style drive locks. Those are notorious for allowing the drive to move and rub holes in the drivewell.

I didn't know that they just seem annoying compared to the click n go system. I'll be doing a separate how to video about that conversion.

Thanks! Both are great kayaks, they have a lot of similarities, the Outback just has more bells and whistles.

There's a olive colored one near me but the guy still wants an arm and a leg for it.

Yea they are really only worth $800-$1000 fully stock without added upgrade such as more modern parts and upgraded seat.

Blue Summit Outdoors yeah he wants 1k for it. I was going to get it for shallow rivers but not for that much and not with the pre 2015 seat. I’d like to have a hank Parker edition

The one I picked up is a 2008 Hank Parker edition. It was listed for $1000 offered $800 and got it.
