It's a beautiful winters day and I'm on the hunt for some nice snapper to feed the whanau, I'm joined by Quin from @Kai_Machine and we head out on the kayaks to hunt down some big snapper.
After the first spot fails to fire I set up a silver drummer burley and after giving it some time to work I shoot a nice fat snapper on it.
We take a break for lunch on a deserted beach, light a fire and cook up a kahawai that Quin had shot - a super tasty feed!
Back in the water it is Quin's' turn to check the burley and sure enough there is another big snapper there, Quin gets the shot on and after quick fight has the fish in his arms.
