Hey ADX, if you haven’t seen our new short film, you gotta check it out, its one of our favorites we’ve made! 👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-j5joYa7TYpI.html
What an amazing view to cook fish by. Old Town Kayaks can't be beat. Love love love mine. Great catch. What an awesome first fish for the Old Town. 🎣🚣⛰
The 'kayaker' wave and specific technique had me lol-ing; very similar to the fellow 'motorcyclist' wave when on the road. All the Addicted dudes seem cool and do a great job, but Jordan is my personal fave - very funny and entertaining, respects mother nature, history, and tradition, and has great taste and mad skills in the kitchen!
Love your videos Jordan. As a long time Hobbie yak angler you'll find it much easier to manage your gear if you turn your rod holder around and fish your rod across your kayak. It's easier to grab, your gear runs closer to your yak and you'll have less of a chance of getting tangled with another angler. Also, in 25 years of Hobbie fishing I've never stood up in my yak to fight a fish. You risk losing your balance and ending up in the water. Not safe. Yes, yak fishing is great fun, be well, fish on!
Sick video once again. The springer catch from the kayak was epic as well as the smoked fish🤤 Im not sure when you guys made those tees but that might have been one of the coolest ones I've seen to date. Another run plz!
You should consider going carp fishing. The right fish will be looking to challenge you. When you land it, you can then think about throwing around rings
The toilet bowl can be a nightmare for springers. Overall it looked like it went pretty well minus the one snag. I generally avoid it for springers. We did take a 31# out of there hover fishing 3 summers ago. Haven’t been back since Covid started
Another well produced and fantastic episode, of the kayak fishing in the toilet bowl! It would be cool to see Jordan do a video where he de-bones the filets to prepare them for the smoker!
So.... awesome video! You have made gravlax and are adding smoke to it. After 3 days in a brine, you could slice that and eat it and it would be awesome!! Add that great smoke kicks it WAY over the edge! Looks great!!
Man! I thoroughly enjoyed this here documentation of your adventures! Every time I am questioning or wondering something I like to see what this guy here may have to say on the subject. I’m 34 years old and got a new found love for fishing. Good job man! Keep ‘‘em coming!!
In all seriousness though, awesome video. I don't even have it in me, to combat troll around the toilet bowl in a sled. Major kudos to the guys for doing it in kayaks WHILE filming. Great stuff guys!!!😎
Love the title just started kayak fishing this summer and I can't wait to get my first salmon, tried Steilacoom & chambers today only lost two lures... blue fox and a buzz bomb!!!! Love your channel! Gotta remember that wave..
Wet brine wet brine wet brine It’s not even a question better than doing a dry brine. 4 parts brown sugar 1 part white sugar 1 part salt Add enough water to cover the fish completely and brine for 12-48 hrs.
My cat used to harass me endlessly whenever I brought home salmon and I think she got better fresher and more than most people got in a lifetime due to her pure persistence.
Gotta hand it to ya kids, your doing a hellava job with the cinematic. I packed elk in that same area, brought me back..Kinda hurt me when Sean rolled off on his , that dude is talented. Keep up the great content.
Nice job Brother I’m in Junieo Ak Jonesen to get back and get out , your smoked salmon recipe makes my mouth water dang son what a better place to smoke way better than the Traiger , keep the vids coming nice work tight lines
Send me some of that smoked springer! Come over to the Hermiston "Ranch and Home" fishing department and give me a taste of that smoked salmon candy. I need some smoked fish in my vaines! I got a sweet tooth for spring chinook now. Great fishing Jordan, my trolling is done with my paddles.
Bring on the natural smoker! Thank you. Love the idea of catching salmon on a small watercraft. More direct fight between you and the fish. I like taking salmon out of brine, wiping off excess, allowing it to dry on rack before putting in smoker. You get a glossy coating. This helps keep the moisture level even while smoking and not dry out too much. Just what I found works for me. 👍
I have that same Kayak and love it. Smoked salmon looked great, have to find some alder wood to do my smoking with. I will be up in June 2022. Driving to Astoria from the coast of California. Hope to find some Crabbing and salmon spots on the way up. Fun videos. Thanks.
