FYI, The home depot paint bucket is a better option for your dry hatch. Fits perfectly after you cut off handle. It has an extra lid to keep out water and does not allow objects to go all over your hull.
@@girlfinfishing Outstanding! I’m making upgrades to my Lifetime Yukon Angler kayak this winter. I hope to get out on the water as soon as the ice is out here in Wisconsin. By the way, my daughter has hand landed some pretty nice musky in her recreational kayak. She’s loved fishing since she was 5 years old. She’s over 40 now and still going strong. I’m glad to see your love for the outdoors.
Great upgrades. I just got my kayak last last fall. I'm so looking forward to using it this spring and summer. I wish mine only weighed 50 lbs! I think you are really going to enjoy that.
Watching an old video for once. I like the idea of the tub with velcro. Sometimes when switching lures I don't want to put them back into the tackle box and I just set them down in my kayak. But the way you do it looks better, and with velcro if I don't like it, it's easy to undo. Thanks for getting my mind thinking of new upgrades to my Lifetime Teton 100...which is basically the same kayak as yours but it's the Dick's Sporting Goods version. You need to make some kayak fishing videos 👍
Appreciate you checking out the older videos. The little tub is great. Also, you can get a cutting board and put Velcro on it, so you can cut up bait while your on the water. Love the Lifetime fishing kayaks. They are cheap and easy to modify. I do need to get out on the kayak more. I still have yet to catch my first kayak fish.
Great video thanks for the tips!I'm super stoked, I just bought my first lifetime kayak, I will be making videos on it soon! looking forward to more kayak videos! keep it up! Tight lines 🎣
I think it’s amazing that you go out of your way to share all of this for everyone that loves fishing! I’m sure many people appreciate it! Can’t wait to see the next GirlFinnFishing video!
I think it’s so funny that when you fist bump or slap bump the camera, you actually slap the camera lol 😅 Very original and nice job on the upgrade. Very Impressive G 🤙🏻
@@girlfinfishing Yeah it does make a huge difference. But you’re gettin it done regardless. But what a video it will be with your hands free to fish. 💪🏻G🤙🏻
@@newenglandoutdoorlore yeah. Take your time deciding. I just wanted to be able to get out on the water. I’m impatient. 🙃 I really wanted a vibe pedal drive. They are a really good brand.
@@girlfinfishing Yeah, I'm not going to rush it. The vibe I was looking at is $800. I sat in it and it seems more stable than the lifetime but it's also twice the money but you get what you pay for.
@@newenglandoutdoorlore The Vibe is definitely more stable. The Lifetime you can not stand up and be steady, especially if you need to hook set. Whatever you end up getting I look forward to seeing some kayak fishing vids.
That yak's awesome! Mine is just a plain one lol. I got it this year. First year fishing in a kayak. I love it though. Lots of places we can get to that boats cannot. I need a better one like yours. Nice to meet yah! Sub #108
Ty. It’s super easy to maneuver and navigate everything in it. I haven’t gotten out on the water with it, but I am looking forward to getting to those hard to reach places. Thanks for watching and subbing 😊
great idea with the waterproof phone cover! I've lost 3 phones already and that was off of my boats🤣 That seat does look nice....can't beat that for $17. great setup 👍 BTW...love your dog pic in your banner on home screen!!!!
