I have that exact same kayak and go out on lake tillery all the time. A bit of advice though, ditch those paddles and get you a decent pair of Ozark Trail paddles. Your hands and arms will thank you lol
You're right. Those paddles were rough especially for a 7 mile trip. We went from the Morrow Mtn boat launch area to the Swift Island Lake Tillery Boat access. The gopro even gave up. Thanks for the advice!
@@rideoutvibeout another great place from Morrow Mt is up Uwharrie river. There is a little kayak canoe launch after you get so far that connects to River rd by Carolina Forest. I love taking that trip because there's a lot less motor boat traffic. I tend to stay off the main PeeDee channel just because of how rough the water can be, sometimes feels like you're paddling like crazy and getting absolutley nowhere lol
