Kayaking to and Climbing Coranado Volcano 

It is a 3 mile kayak from Punta la Gringa in Bahia de Los Angeles, Baja, Mexico to Coronado Island. The dormant volcano is almost 1,500 feet and there is a steep trail up the south side to the summit. It is about 1.5 miles long to the rim, and takes about an hour if you keep moving. The views are spectacular.
