It’s so refreshing to see an honest review on this fragrance. I couldn’t agree with you more, it’s a let down. Not because it’s bad but because it’s too similar to other fragrances
It’s a letdown for me. It doesn’t come close to TF, TF is in a class by itself with that boozy scent😍😍 I agree with everything you said I had high hopes for it too. I want to return mines, I think that’s exactly what I’m going to do back to the store it goes. Lol😩😩
Great review! Lovefest would have been my first cherry fragrance in my modest fragrance collection😄 I purchased the travel size and I agree with you 100%. I love the initial spray, but after that it was so soft on my skin and clothes. My husband didn't even know I had a perfume on😂. Glad I only purchased the travel size.
I’m glad I waited!! I almost got the full size, then I was going to get the travel and ultimately 😂 I decided to wait for reviews. Cherry isn’t my favorite note to begin with and I was sold on the addition of all the other notes listed, because I’m a woodsy, smoky fragrance lover.
You are officially my fragrance cousin. Lol. I love Kayali fragrances but I had a feeling this would be a let down as well. I ordered both the 10 ml and a 50 ml which I never do. I opened the 10 ml and after a few tries I knew I would be sending the 50 ml back. Girl send yours back. Sephora will take it back as long as 50% is remaining. I know you did not use no where near that amount... lol. Or keep it for around the house... lol. Thanks for your honesty. The reference to Lost Cherry and Rouge Smoking is spot on. I tested the theory and sprayed both BDK and Tom Ford and the combo smells almost spot on to this Kayali one. Great job!!
Thanks! I always feel guilty about retuning fragrances, but I really shouldn’t! I’ve given Sephora & Kayali so much of my money over the years so that should count for something. 😆
I did hear that layering it with other kayali fragrances will take it up a notch, so hopefully it will be a like down the line the more you can play with it.. again, thank you for sharing. I really enjoyed this video
I agree. I got lost cherry at first but then I got body splash then nothing at all on my skin very quickly. This is a great beginner cherry fragrance for a teenager 😊 I was hoping it would be a dupe for lost cherry.
This was so clear from the first part of the video Until the End that you were not feeling this fragrance! Lol! Definitely not your vibe! And it may be me, but the few kayali fragrances that I have are not long lasting.
That’s what I keep hearing and longevity is really important to me…I like powerhouse frags and I was so close to buying this because of the notes and how beautiful it sounded, but I’m going to pass for now and try TF that I love!!
I love the scent. I have TF lost cherry and feel like it starts off smelling like Lost Cherry but turns into another fragrance. There are a lot of fragrances that smell familiar now days in my opinion.

It's really sad that Kayali is looking like a dupe house instead of the forward brand it was for its first four drops. 🚨Girl, send that bad boy back (it's about the time, not the juice used)!!!!!!!!! SIDE NOTE: The original Polo Model, Chris Collins, has a perfume line. They started selling a few of his scents at Sephora (1st Blkowned Fragrance Company there) but his REALLY good stuff is still solo on his site. Try out his discovery set from his direct site. I just bought African Rooibos and I think you might LOVE it ... it is SO unique.

I really like the scent so far! I have TF Lost Cherry and feel Lovefest will be a cheaper alternative for me. I’m also a fan of woody scents so maybe that’s why I like it.
Oud Wood is one on my list for sure!! I’ve been a fan of the 3 Dossier fragrances I’ve gotten and I think I’m going to get their version of TF’s Lost Cherry
I definitely smelled almond at first as well! I wish this scent was more interesting to me. I didn’t smell much of anything interesting and the longevity…😩😂😂😂. I think this is a like for you! Oh wowww surprised it’s a let down! Def for me too 😆
If you like this scent but want something that has more strength and character check out Cherry Casino from Dua fragrances. It’s a Hybrid of TF lost Cherry and BR540. It’s been around for a while and has its own little cult following. Your wallet may thank you as well.
I got the travel size of this and haven’t returned it yet because I’m still indifferent. It would be a good fall scent but honestly it smells exactly how it sounds…like cherry on fire. I’ll keep testing it but not wow’d by it currently
I’ve heard quite a few reviews that are very similar to yours. I’m going to skip this one and wait for Paulina’s collab with Navitus for my next cherry fragrance.

I completely understand your choice. It's always disappointing when you're hoping for something new/different only for it to smell similar to something you already own 😩 I wish my Sephora had it in store to smell because the more reviews I watch, the more I'm like ehhh. I'm sure I'll like it since it seems to only be similar to Lost Cherry in the opening based on the reviews I've seen (I'm not a fan of the dry down of Lost Cherry), but I don't want it if it's similar to Rouge Smoking which I own and enjoy, but don't quite love. Bought my bottle Saturday, wore it Monday, smelled LC in that first spray but as it dried down it made me think of “by the fireplace” by MMM with that smokiness feel to it.
Morning lady 🤗 I love these love, like, or letdown videos ... Kayali is known for having weak longevity (even their parfums). You know I hate cherry scents 😝 but I am expecting the small bottle ... if its as I expect, I'll gift it
Agree…I couldn’t wait to get Vanilla 28 because of all the amazing reviews and how it was always out of stock. I got the biggest bottle and I do love the scent initially, but it doesn’t last long at all which makes me so mad lol!! I always pair it with other fragrances and never wear it on its own
@@Goldie9899 Oddly enough, my fav is the Musk scent - it is soooo beautiful but 30 minutes is the max of scent so it's now a night scent. If you do want anything Kayali or Huda - sign up for their emails. If you get their emails they give you a 3-day early access to their Blk Friday sales and EVERYTHING is 30% off (except their Holiday eyeshadow palette) ... the perfume sells out FAST 🏃♀
It's not a let down for me,I think it's it's own fragrance. I don't think it's a dupe.the only thing for me is the performance. It's not worth the money for the performance. But I did love the scent.imho.

Hey Ayesha, ok I appreciate your honest review. I thought you would like it, but I was wrong 🤣.... So on my skin it is really nice and it does last longer than Lost Cherry. I oversprayed like I was crazy and it gave me a few more hours, but the sillage didn't overtake the room. Thank you for sharing your review
I was waiting for your review because you are a cherry lover. I do understand your let down. I was hoping for more of the “burning” cherry aspects I think that would have made it unique.

I think I'm gonna wait and save up for BDK Rouge Smoking. I have wanted that one for a while. I'm going to get a sample of the Burning Cherry just to see for myself. I really do love Kayali Invite Only Amber, so it might not be needed. Most of the reviews I have seen have been meh for it. Love your honest reviews as always 😍
Hi Ayesha, thank you for the review. I have yet to add a Kayali fragrance to my collection and had high hopes for this one. But I think I will go for the TF. I have a question for you, about Burning Cherry but not one you probably expect: can you recommend a lipstick with the exact same color of the bottle used in the imagery/ads like when you google and see the bottle on a white background. That deep red almost like a very deep fuchsia? Been searching for ages.
Agreed!! I was let down, too, because it's so much like TFLC that I'm glad I only purchased a purse spray. Disappointed that it wasn't as unique as I'd hoped. 😔
I love Kayali but something told me to wait for the excitement to die down on this one. Could have just been a feeling or it could have been my loyalty to Lost Cherry lol.

Thanks! I mixed it with Vanilla 28 last night and it took away that synthetic smell for the most part. I could still smell it when I put my nose to my arm though!
I’m going with Like. I was wrong! Lol. I felt like your vibe was let down, but you hardly ever say let down. Lol. I have the travel spray. I like it, but agree it’s not original. I do enjoy layering it was pink diamond. The only fragrance I have in a large size from kayali is vanilla 28. Honestly I have come not to expect much from them (no shade). Love these videos!
I don’t like sweet diamond pink pepper and I have that combo pen of that and utopia vanilla coco. I mainly bought that for the vanilla coco. I may just try layering that just to get some use out of PP

Great review as usual. I tried this sent in Sephora, and I have something that smells almost the same. It's Amerena Cherry from Fragrenza, I got it as an alternative to Lost Cherry. And the Fragrenza scent last all day.
