UFC want her to lose so make her fight with big weight cut instead of her weight class at PFL. It would be a good look for UFC despite don't need (PFL is less good than rizin, one FC , Bellator and UFC , similar to ksw ).
Makes you wonder why UFC can't make a proper women's 145 division. Cutting that much weight can't be healthy, I mean imagine if guys like Justin and Dustin were forced to make 135. This is essentially the same as that.
Very impressive. The commitment that must of took to cut all that weight, I didn't think she would make it. Mad respect. Let's see how it effects her in the cage though.
@H.K.5 no there are not. There aren't enough feathers to fill the roster of top 15 and you clearly don't watch them fight with a keen eye, because if you did, you would notice the women at FW tend to move and fight like the men at HW. In conclusion, they've figured out the weight limits and that's why you work at PetsMart and they run a multi billion dollar company.
They were both looking rough. I can't see how it won't have an impact on the fight. I would have rather seen them compete closer to their walking-weight. But it is what it is... Should be a good scrap anyway.
@@joshuamurray6580 Apparently 10X more effective in women than in men. Also good to prevent arthritis in them in small doses. But she's definitely on more than ''a little bit'' LOL! Literally has pecs.
Kayla Harrison is two time Olympic Gold judo champion at 176 lbs. and she is a MMA champion in PFL. And she has won countless international judo competitions. She started training at 6 years old.
Taking her shorts off, walking upto the scale and seeming completely lucid are very positive signs. The big question for me now is how she will look in the fight. I hope her body doesn't rebound too severely
Looking like a concentration camp inmate after a death march. Why they made this at 135 rather than use Kayla to help build 145 is beyond all rational comprehension.
That’s funny because she has been competing as a woman her entire entire life and even one judo championships as a woman so I don’t know why you would bring anything
@@carlbunner5515juice is actually fattening so I doubt she drinks any of that crap, all hard work..and maybe a different type of juice..one that she likely has to inject into her body. 🤷♂️
Kayla has male musculature and facial features. Masculinization is absolutely present. The sharp, angular jawline, capped delts, pecs instead of breasts etc. It's clear she's been on the sauce for a while.
This old judo black belt at my gym has connections with her and apparently she is very familiar and comfortable with this weight and was already good and ready a month ago he assured me. Good for her, this should be a great fight.
I predicted the Rousey vs Holm result I am tempted to put some coin on Holly tomorrow. I don't have the same confidence in Holly now as I did all those years ago.
@@jurgenhoxhay2065no they don’t. It’s stupid, what is natural weight? There’s a bunch of fat asses out here saying that’s their natural weight, you’re one of them. Regular weight is not a thing but ‘best weight’ is. Best weight is what people who aren’t weight bullies or fatasses fight at
Respect to Kayla Harrison. Everyone doubted her making weight. I hope she recovers well. She looks absolutely drained. Brutal cut. They should bring back the featherweight division for her.
Damn you can see it in her that took everything in her to make weight. Look at the mind at work when focused can achieve anything. Regardless how you view her situation
Christopher Moltisanti helped Kayla Harrison make weight by placing a pack of matches in the scale. That trick isn't just good for a discount on Brazilian Snapper.
@austinarnold7951 Kayla is much better than Holly. Kayla will dominate all the ufc women. There is no challenges for her in ufc, PFL/Bellator has better opponents for her.
She looks ROUGH! Reminds me of when Rich Franklin cut to 185 for the first time like 20 years ago. Totally pulled in and gaunt. Hopefully she can handle it and bounce back. Holly is a handful on someone's best day.
I had my doubts like everyone else and obviously she looks rough but a weight cut is a weight cut. If her body gets used to it then she will be a 135er for a while. Look at Aldo, remember all the comments about him dropping down to 135 and how he looked?
Looks like skeletor at this point. If she can't rehydrate successfully, holms will pick her apart with the striking and maybe get a finish, but definitely a decision. Like i said, if she can't recover.
There REALLY needs to be a women’s 145 and 155 because there are very few women who can stick around 135 in their 30’s. And then we deal with bloating from periods, hormone changes body and hormone changes after having a baby. Building muscle and speed is different for women as their hormones change so dramatically every decade. And…….keeping the weight class at 135 was really not a good thing for Holly because she still had to fight a 155 pound woman 2 days later after re-hydrating. Holly looked like a skinny teenager by the time they got to the ring.
