The charges are articulated in the Complaint. Please don’t treat your viewers as if they actually believe a trial would proceed without specific charges under the NY case law. Saying the prosecution can’t articulate charges is misleading and is an insult to everyone regardless of politics.

There are 34 criminal counts: 11 of the counts are for the separate checks written to Cohen to reimburse him for the Stormy payoff, 11 of the counts are for the invoices used to cover up to true purpose of the payments, and 12 are for the fraudulent ledger entries that the payments were for legal expenses.
