@@leoguy1030 *You're wack. Look at your own profile picture, you goon. If you're going to insult someone based on ad hominem bullshit, have the decency to at least be grammatical.
phenomenonnarutokun I just read the description, and I think Kaytranada is from Montreal, but hey, Montreal was still hype for him, showing their love!! ^0^
+phenomenonnarutokun Thats because NYCs set was whack and I Iive here. I wouldve left to a more poppin spot myself. Londons set and LAs set are way better. And by the look of this crowd,I wouldve brought that soysauce. yummy!!!!
Thinking this through man, I'm 45 and I was listening to house music, R&B and Hip Hop in my teens and early adulthood which was late 80's and 90's. I listen to Kaytranada's sets and I just hear the music I listened to growing up. He even puts in some of the classics from Bell Biv Devoe and De La Soul in his sets.
Asians in LA are really into the beats scene. It might be the first American music subgenre/movement influenced by Asians. Also there's some influence from anime. It's not by accident that "lo fi hip hop music to study /relax" streams always have clips of anime, and where would FlyLo or Thundercat be without anime?
Kaytranada is exceptional. Not a lot of artists have an ear to do trap, disco, soul, r&b, rap and all kinds of other genres from throughout the years within the same mix. Loving his current BBC R1 Residency
He got a speaker right next to him and his song are already mostly remixed, he adds a couple new effects for the event and Boom! He's still impressive no matter what hahaha
People in the comments like "wow this crowd is wack"... IT'S LOS ANGELES, the capital of plastic people!! Bring this heat to Chicago where music is appreciated!
@@DoWeNeedAName legit everyone else just standin around doing nothing wish she was in the centre with the girl beside her instead of the two asian girls!
I attended this boiler room, my first boiler room experience! I was one of the girls standing right behind him, this venue was HOT. probably one of the best experiences I ever had. I got to meet Kaytranada and Ta-ku
This is the most I've seen him dance in one of his sets. Too bad the crowd isn't as great as the other boiler room sets. I hope boiler room comes to portland
How you gonna come watch Kay perform live, you are literally a foot away from him, and sit on you r damn phone?! Where's the respect mayn? Appreciate the moment
The black girl and the asian on the left are the real winner of "I'm dancing to Kaytranada in a Boiler Room must enjoy it as much as I can beacause that's some real dope and fuck my phone"
This mans beats..... I can imagine Kendrick and his team ( Black Hippy) murdering this beat with their lyrics. Wud be a phenomenal collab. Kaytranada + Black Hippy.
Fucking beautiful. I wish Boiler Room would focus less on the "esthetics" and actually put people who are not too cool to dance and enjoy themselves at the front. I'd be tearing it up in there if were there. Sigh.
