I'm sorry but I can't see the hello Inej scene without thinking of that fan theory. It makes me laugh on the inside now. I will now always think when Kaz is alone he just constantly says "Hello Inej" hoping that she'll be there.

"I will have you without your armor, Kaz Brekker, or I will not have you at all" is just about the most perfect line I've heard in my life. She's so desperately in love with him, it's infuriating because the actress' acting is so good it's like she's got me feelin all the feels. Esp when she asked about his dream to gage if it was romantic and hopeful, like hers was. Because you just know, he's her entire world and she wants nothing more for him to break his walls down and let her in. He's not ready, obviously, but watching her constantly save him and look after him and wait by the sidelines is heartbreaking. No wonder she echoed his line back to him at the end there by saying "Hope is dangerous" because she just knows she can't wait for him forever. Ugh! These two. All the feels. And when he said "A saint has never looked over me, not like you have." Ugh, that too, all the feels man! Also Inej, Kaz's weakness is you, duh! How can you not tell? That's why he always tries to distance himself and won't let you in, bc he doesn't want to be weak and vulnerable. But you're his weakness, sweetie ;)
Alina and Mal are basic YA tropes. There's no real tension, no real obstacle to their love. That's why all the other relationships in the show are more interesting, esp. Kaz and Inej.
I thought you'd include the dialogue where kaz says 'no one's ever smart enough to look for the real one' about his weakness...that was OP kanej moment😭
It’s truly the best and worse thing isn’t it. The slow burn feels real and earned and special, yet at the same time, saints above, I just wanna see these two kiss and live happily ever after already 😅
Seriously the chemistry between these two actors and characters is out of this world!! Its been a long time I seen such a chemistry on screen without even touching!! I don't know why everyone prefer them no to kiss but really imagine that scene?! The agony and the pashion thats been hidden for so long! They will heal each other!! Am sad that we didn't see the small kiss in the injury scene of Inej. And btw don't you dare ruin this ship! I saw the hints from Tolya.. The looks etc.. I hope they don't ruin the second seasons good job!!

I think it's just to give Inej an option so she might think "Hmm, I could find someone else, maybe lead a happier life away from Ketterdam." Then she realises "Nope, I don't want someone else. I want Kaz."
The way the season ended needed to be. He needs to come to terms with his demons before being with her bc Inej doesn’t deserve anything less than a whole man. He has the capacity to love her fully.
Honestly in a weird way it makes this relationship so much more special than we don't see them kiss even in the books because after everything they've been though their kiss will be just in their universe and so private the audience don't experience it either I don't know if that makes sense but I kinda like the way they don't kiss even though it makes me want to punch a wall

I just realise that Kesh is the name that Inej give to Kaz (to buy her contract) in there first scene together on season 1. At the end of season 2, Kaz send a work proposition at Kesh...intriguing.
Its her whisper of "what's yours" Or her reassuring "I'm fine", when he was mildly freaking out, for me 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥰🥰🥰. Plus, please I'm still trying to understand kaz's weakness 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Kaz' weakness is Inej! Whenever there is danger or something big happening he first looks at her, which is his tell. It's a reference to something that happens in the books, where someone figures it out (don't want to spoil to much). But that's why Kaz keeps trying to shut his feelings for her down bc he knows.
I don't care about the plot with Alina just give me Six of Crows spin off already!!! Honestly all the scenes with Alina and Mal and their destiny were so boring. Again kinda like first season the crows were the best part of each episode. I don't like Mal's or Alina's characters at all and tbh i was disappointed with what they did to the Darkling this season😢
Agree. I shipped Darklina in S1 and then Malina. But for this season, Idk I kinda dislike Malina, their story is really boring... I just kept on wanting to skip their scenes but I just held back tho.. I kinda liked Alina and Nikolai instead 😭 I love Nikolai, he's so charming!! Now I understand why so many people were excited for his appearance before S2 started ^^ I hope there will be a spin off, or even better S3 for SOC pretty please 🥺 I need more of Kanej 😭
Shadow and bone is a pretty black-white and cliched story. Which makes sense, the target audience is teens. Character arcs like this exist everywhere, which is a pity because the world was original. The crows, even though stereotypical too, had some nice twists. Like a gay, interracial couple or a person with believable PTSD.
@@Parvahti bro, i'm 13 and even i say that shadow and bone is cliche. i love six of crows because everyone has their own motives and the main protagonists are morally grey thieves, demolition experts, grisha, druskelle, sharpshooters, and assassins. it's not like in shadow and bone where everyone is there to serve alina's story. it's also realistic. kaz isn't doing what he's doing because he wants to save the world, he's doing it out of spite and to get money. inej was sold to slavery and wylan is in hiding. they don't have some over-the-top dramatic origin story like zoya. and, notably, everyone is incredibly unique in six of crows. no two characters are alike. everyone is iconic and their backstories actually affect how they perceive the world. in shadow and bone, the most notable character is genya, though you could still sum up the majority of the cast of characters with the simple word "grisha". it got really annoying in shadow and bone because i kept forgetting who ferrik and ivan were, i always mixed up ferrik with tolya and tamar i always forgot her main character traits. i kid you not i kept forgetting who nadiya was and i didn't care when adrik lost an arm. essentially, i loved how diverse and fleshed out each character was in six of crows, whereas in shadow and bone characters just seemed to be there because why not. in shadow and bone, there's a cast of maybe 20 protagonists, but in six of crows, you only have 6. another point i just remembered was that genya and zoya are the two most notable characters with trauma. kaz and inej also have trauma. kaz has ptsd but inej doesn't, inej has the remnants of her past still with her, and so does kaz. they both characterize their trauma in very different ways, kaz out of spite and inej out of honour. genya and zoya's trauma are very much alike and characterize it in the same way- covering it up with their beauty and grisha abilities. and the worst part is, zoya and genya's trauma doesn't connect to an over-arching theme like kaz and inej's trauma does. oh and the themes in six of crows are far more realistic and deeper than the very few that are in shadow and bone. also, i really love the kanej slowburn versus whatever malina was. kanej also serves the character arcs of both kaz and inej, whereas malina is just there for emotional stakes so that the final scene actually had emotional weight
I don't think we really need to worry about that. One of the writers said fans were looking way too much into that look he gave her. Amita Suman also said that Inej's heart is fully set on Kaz and she already read the spin-off script.
it means that tolya is gonna try ti get with inej, she is gonna half fall but then kaz will come back into her life and be better and she will fall harder than ever.
It made no sense for Inej's character. She just got done having a relationship altering conversation with Kaz and then immediately gives Toyla heart eyes. Like what? If Netflix is going to do a whole love triangle arc, or worse, destroy Kanej completely, then I'd rather the show gets canceled. That last scene triggered my acid reflux because of the amount of dread I felt. Well, actually, the last two episodes were already terrible. But that last scene with Inej and Toyla was like eating a week old Taco Bell burrito. Love triangles should have died with Twilight.
