From Tbilisi we took a bus to Stepantsminda where we have climb to last house in the village - Kazbegi Hut (1900 m.a.s.l.). We did the whole way up and down on our feet with backpacks filled with provisions, water, high-mountain equipment, rope, tents, sleeping bags, etc. (20 kg each). The next day we climbed to an altitude of 3,000 m above sea level, where we pitched our tents at Altihut. After a rainy and windy night we went higher. We crossed the glacier tied with a rope - crampons, ice axes, helmets. We didn't encounter any crevices and after a while we reached Bethlemi Hut (3650 m.a.s.l.) where we set up camp. We had food etc. in the tents for 4-5 nights so that we could wait for the weather window and do more acclimatization. The next day we decided to try to reach the summit due to the good weather/or go halfway and acclimatize better. Wake up at 1:00, leave at 2:00. The weather was fantastic, starry sky and not a single cloud. We had crampons on from the beginning and an hour later we tied ourselves with a rope (and so on until the end). At 6 we reached the plateau at 4450m above sea level. The weather was still good so we decided to go further. The last 200m were very steep and icy. At 10:58 we reached the top!
