TEKKEN IS IN SMASH!!! I've been wishing for tekken ever since Ryu was announced in Smash 4.
Over the years, I lost hope, but oh my god! It happened! :D This might be one of my favourite characters
and I definetly consider maining Kazuya!
I literally had to wake up 03:00 AM to make this. I'm so so tired.
ALSO, this character has SO MANY moves, and I probably have missed plenty of setups so please forgive me for that!
I might make an advanced combo guide for Kazuya later with updated combos!

Getting to learn one tekken character, even the easy ones like shaheen, takes around to about 2 to 6 hours depending if you're tryna find counters, understanding their fundamentals or just finding the character for you. And considering they only included about 1/8 of kazuya's full movelist, i doubt it'd take that long

@@inalingthedead yes, simple game. Kaz in T7 is more complex. smash doesn't have sidestep moves, tracking moves, ukemi. you can't even do 5 consecutive EWGF in Smash. bad properties for EWGF.

Awesome video! I do recommend putting the inputs on screen though right under the "difficulty" level. With so many actions available to Kazuya, knowing exactly what the player has to do can be hard to follow even if they have the movelist next to them. Stick tilts and button presses could be colored *white* while stick taps and button holds could be colored *red* , denote whether inputs must be done standing or crouched, mention repositions (if any) or untrue combos (like you did) etc.

If you going into training mode press + the Zr you get the move list tho it doesn't show the combos at least all the inputs are there 🤷‍♂️

Kazuya's damage is insane. He's like a mix of Bowser + Ganondorf + Captain Falco. Fast, stronger and a lot of armor. But can't deny he's so freaking cool!

I know it was 2 years ago, on another patch, and that you were alone to test, but most of these are not remotely true, so to anybody who tries to learn kazuy in 2023/2024, do NOT trust this video

A huge part of these intermediate combos doesn't work properly. And Up tilt to trip kick Is the worst idea ever .Anyways I found new combos that are true but these are suicide combos for Kazuya,so you can do them if you are playing him for fun. For example in Easy suicide level you can do Nair Down B,or Nair Down Smash Down B Side B to Down B, Demon God Fist to Down B and Trip Kick to Down B.

As someone who has never played fighting games like Street Fighter, King of Fighters or Tekken, I've always wondered just how fast you react to get those inputs. EDIT: I did come up with one insane godlike combo for Kazuya. I use it on Donkey Kong. It goes like this: Stonehead (Down throw), Twin Pistons (Up tilt x2), Jumping Knuckle (NAir (has to spike)), Devil Fist (Side-B), Stature Smash (Down-back tilt), Demon God Fist (Uncrouching attack), Final Blaster (Final Smash). Works on DK everytime.

new to smash ultimate and Kazuya. Roundhouse to Triple Kick Spins (uptilt + AAAA) seems like a really simple and easy combo to pull off after most things for lots of damage, yet I don't see it much in the 'higher level' videos replays etc. Why is it not used as often ?

How are you supposed to do a manual back aerial attack when Kazuya keeps facing towards his opponent at 1:18? I get the forward air input instead. Edited: Nevermind, you're suppose to dash forward then back so he turns around mid air

It would be better if the inputs were shown on the screen, idk what the dash uppercut in :12 was but it works when I do a crouch dash into pressing one of the bumbers which I have as grab, but there’s gotta be another way to do it right?
