I like the video and appreciate the detail you included. One question I have is how thick of aluminum could this cut given the current spindle and dimensions without suffering too much in accuracy?

Hi, Thank you for your comment. This spindle is capable of cutting up to about 16mm/20mm - it all depends on the stick-out of the tool since this spindle takes a max diameter of 6mm. As for accuracy - this unit uses a ballscrew driving system, so parts will be very accurate as long as you take a final last pass to overcome any bit deflection caused by a longer tool stick-out.

The spindle dust brackets we use on our machines work very well to manage the chips but does not make for a very good demo with the bracket on.
