We used to have this very mean neighbor who was not generous at all with food. Tausi ilikua ikiisha hivi, tunachujwa ndo tusidoe nyama ya jirani. Those days wale wenye tv could afford tasty delicacies like meat any day unlike us who got to eat such ‘luxurious’ food in the festive season. But this are beautiful memories of our upbringing days indelibly fixed in our hearts. KBC should make this progis available for people to relive these indelible memories

ooh my God! i acted on this program but for a year before leaving for usa in 98. had a black and white tv. time can really mess things up. cant imagine tuki rehass na siti, mzee kasri, and my good friend karumanzira who are all dead now. mmm sad
back when i was in nursery today am in the university what a TBT...Master Sugu Mfalme wa Machokora i used to act his part nikienda class while in nursery daaaah this is a real TBT thumbs up for the upload we need more parts of this please....
Since there were few television sets back then, many used to watch this classic local soap at our neighbours' houses & we were immediately 'thrown' out after kuisha ndio tusidoee supper. Ole wako kama ulikua enemies na mtoi wa neiba ju hangekubali huingie kwao uwatch tv you had to peep through the window.

this show was scary as well as entertaining. i was like 11 or 12 yrs old and loved this show. i remember when mama Lindi's ghost would appear and i would close my eyes and ask my mom/maid if that part was over lol
this was the best TV show ever.. leave alone these Nigerian movies and Mexican/Philippine/Brazilian soap operas... it was the black panther of that time
Nimepotea kabisa, nilisahau kiswahili, sasa sielewi kitu. Tausi is full of my teen age memories. Kiswahili sanifu kitamu kabisa. Hope i'll learn more. Be blessed for you have brought joy and lovely memories in our lives.
i rem ma uncle was a teacher and used to have tuition in our house bt lazima ange allow all of us to watch the program after dat watoto waende home kwao!!

Our village had one TV, KBC used to air from 12 noon to 9 pm. Each program used to be introduced by an announcer. I remember movies being rewinded live.
Priceless memories.So sad seeing our local productions presently given where we've come from,either plain silly or too much imitation from the west...tungekuwa mbali had we continued with this trend.
KBC now days has been invaded by goons, thief , rapist who are hungry even to the extend of stealing salary of junior staff, marketers are selling commercials to other media houses, TV/radio program managers are blocking good programs and live sports from being aired in KBC TV and at the end of the day opening up their own media station with the same content they blocked from being aired in kbc TV this is Kenya Shameless.
