Thanks. Went there in '89 with my mum and brother. Almost exactly as I remember it. Not somewhere I would personally choose, but fun times nonetheless.

I auditioned for the talent show in the Gaiety theatre in 1995. Sad it was demolished, a great original Butlins building.

Thanks for the video,, brings back good memories for me and my dad we can remember it like this,, best times ever!!! Monorail, ballrooms, games rooms, funfairs, the 3 big water slides outside swimming pool.. Amazing times!!!

Did you go to Festival of the 60s on 4-7 March? I remember going along that Monorail, passing the Funsplash and feeling really frustrated at not being allowed to go swimming. Well, I've now been back, enjoyed some really great bands... and been swimming! At last!
