Cant believe all the negative comments for an awesome player ! Most can only dream to have a fraction of Jimmy's talent . Top ten all time snooker player all day .
He's a top 10 talent, not player though. There's more to Snooker than talent, look at Selby, Dott, Griffiths, Thorburn, Parrott, Doherty, Ebdon & Bingham... all achieved what Jimmy couldn't. The difference between a good player and a great player is between the ears. He'll go down as a great because of his style and ability, not his achievements...
So play untill he dies embarrissing himself ? i said he had to stop 10 years ago, he should just play in a club if he still wants to compete, he also takes the spot of a young talent and he doesnt deserve that imo.
@@adrianwright8685 Has he? He hasn't won the big one and that's all that matters to the player and the records books. He'll be forever known as a choker, sad but true...
@@djsc1439 Of the current 129 pro's 119 have also not won the 'big one' - do you consider them all to be useless chokers as well? Allen, Carter, Ding, Hawkins, Wilson, Lisowski, McGill, Maguire, etc etc ?? Rather a harsh judgement don't you think?
say's it all jimmy.. you havent got it under pressure in match play anymore at this level, and you've had an amazing 40 year career and to still get the invites to the big events.. sadly i think its time you be true to yourself and stop thinking you can still compete... always be a hero of the baize....
For sure he is one of the all time greats. Without characters like Jimmy the game wouldn’t be what it is today. Fair play to him for carrying on playing, doing what he loves.
@@rhendry5832jimmy really is a club player just very average but he is popular that is why they let him play. But in the 80s his level was acceptable to be a professional
@@Raj-ul9my yea he was acceptable in the 80s but he’s still nowhere near one of the all time greats. Even though he thinks he is. The man’s delusional.
