These were the best days of my life. The gang went dancing every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night. It was the best when they had the lit up dance floor. Kids today ate missing out. This music makes you feel so happy!!!😊
I like heavy metal. My daughters like rap and jazz my mother likes oldschool country, my grandmother likes KC & the Sunshine Band! So we all jam when KC is playing. No matter WHO you are.
They were fun times, Disco. Kids of today missing out so much these days. Music of today is mostly garbage with so little talent. It's good thinking back to my youth. Happy Days
Sad,but true imo. Lots of good music in the 70's. I remember doing the Bump with my sister Terri. I was 9 and she was ten years older. She passed Nov of 23. We had some fun Sis. I love you and miss you. Your Baby Brother.
Grazie mille.
in the late seventies I once rowed in the back of a pickup truck, With a whole bunch of other kids from about Detroit to Bay city Michigan to see KC and the sunshine band and the Bay City Rollers in concert. On a completely different field trip we got to go see Sly and the family stones and The Doobie Brothers. In a different field trip in fact the first concert, I got to see was Willie Nelson and Box car willie. Man the 1970s was a great time to be a kid. And a great time for music.
@@2768231, indeed it was. FAR better than the rap crap and hip slop they try to pass of as "music" today! Comparing the slop of today to real music is like trying to compare Adolph Hitler to a Jewish Rabbi!
I was blessed as they played a x mas party at the Las Vegas Hilton in 96 All i can say is i wish i had rollerskates that night. What a beat. Thank you sir for making my life fun
You get it... KC&TSB kickstarted that Miami groove. Before then Disco was an underground gay club movement centred around the NYC scene. KC took it nationwide and then into the global mainstream. Such an important act.
My pop's was a radio disc jockey 💿 back in the day🎶. All these songs remind me of those amazingly happy times! Peace, Love, Respect and Thank You 🎶💕🤣🔥✌️🤙
I saw KC and the Sunshine Band at Universal'd Mardi Gras with my Dad. I went in thinking "I don't know any songs by these people." I knew most of them. 😂🤣 I love them. RIP Dad. That night was so fun.
Every body complained about disco but this band gave it some serious standing. I heard these songs before but didn’t know who sang them. This wasn’t a bad band. Compared to some of the music created today this disco could be a welcomed come back.
Music created today? I didn't know music was created today. Correct me if I'm wrong but when one say's creating music do they mean the instruments your hearing are actually being played by a live person or band.
MeeToo I got 1/2 year on ya Still have 45,album&8 track tape Collection. U-Tube ALOT easier to play tunes. Plus You can chat with “ YO PEEPS” Pardon my “ French”!!! CB
Loved disco and dancing to these songs and watching Dance Fever each week ! I was a junior in college and loved this music and of course living in Florida we heard KC a lot ! Music SS Bandstand and Soul Train. Friends I met in college lived in NUC so I was fortunate to go to Studio 54 one weekend ! !
They're putting the band back together. This time it's KC3 & The Sunshine Band! That's King Charles III & The Sunshine Band. KC3 will be the DISCO Reign. (Insert WTF?! Emoticon Here)
I was just 7 in 1978 and I swear to God you couldn't go anywhere in NYC and not hear this wonderful uplifting music. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart KC ur the best!
I was born in 1960. In Roma. Italy. Think same way..... Top of the Age of the World .... 70 end 75.... Live ??? 70....75....80.....85... 90....98......stop. The end of game.
A huge fan since ‘74. Still listen to this awesome music. Saw him live last night at RU-vid an he was so much fun! Great sense of humor. He’s now KFC & The Sunshine Band
KC and the Sunshine Band played for my 10th grade class in our gymnasium before their concert that night at our local college. They were just about to hit the big time ... this would have been 1975. We had no idea that we were listening to legends.
@@janelle27893 Well, you saw them in 1975, in their prime...That's memorable! KC and the Sunshine Band was one of the first band that I got into. Tried to see them in 2019, but didn't quite get that chance. I hope I get to see Singer Harry Casey before he quits, retires, dies. Retro disco is now cool, Even if those Kiss fans disagree....
KC was the man, rockin it in Cali, way back... ... Baby, baby I'll meet you Same place, same time Where we can all get together And ease up our mind...
All joking aside, this greatest hits album is incredible. With only a few duds (Please Don't Go, Give it Up, All I Want) I've played this album at least once a week for the last 5 years.
you know, my mom used to play a disco compilation record back when i was a kid, and i can recognise most of them were from kc, gotta thank her one of these days
En los años 70 y 80 se bailó en las fiestas de nuestros repartos se bailó disco pero también pegado tanguito que alegría recordar esos tiempos de nuestra juventud.
