KCM is a Starcraft Broodwar tournament where species compete in best of 1 matches until only 1 is left standing. All the strongest players from ASL and other Korean tournaments are in attendance each epic season to decide which team will dominate the KCM and the world. Protoss Zerg or Terran?

Thanks for the cast, guys! Another great week! Kinda sucks the result was spoiled in KCM's thumbnail -_- spoiler/Citadel The problem in TvP with placing tanks on the ridges is that you can't micro Vultures at all. One group of zealots can spell an ez gg. Mong's tactical big picture was 10/10

FYI - I believe "Blitz Y" is two words, and the successor to "Blitz X", an old map that was most recently played in the STPL. It looks very similar to Blitz X, just turned 90 degrees and some minor tweaks. I love your casts; keep up the good work!

KCM I just discovered your page! You’re the perfect balance between artosis and Falcon paladin. Not too overly annoying in any way and a great caster. I like these videos casting with the other guy as well, even though his ridiculous allegories sometimes have me rolling my eyes lol. Not complaining though, and sometimes they are funny. Anyway thanks so much for the content to watch!

wouldnt wanna be a tesagi fan right about now 👀 btw the new maps have been designed to favour toss slightly, because we haven't had a toss champ in ASL for a while. If I recall, they won't use those maps in the ro24 or ro16.

How do they favor Protoss (honest question)? I can see a Carrier map or an Arbiter map, but we haven't even seen Carriers or Arbiters that much so far.

Who decides which players participate in these KCM tournaments? Mong seems like a weird choice, in any case. From what I understand, he has great TvP but terrible TvZ, so the best case that can be hoped for in this tournament is that he beats a Protoss and then immediately loses to a Zerg. What's the point of fielding a player if they have ~no chance of ever getting more wins than losses?

If you can snipe someone that the others are not confident they can beat maybe its a good plan? Maybe mong has risen in power lately as well I am not sure. I don't know who is choosing the lineup each week..

In the last game it was greedy but not risky to go cyber before cannon. He had a probe all up in his opponents shit so there really wasn't any risk of an all in play taking him down. He could see there wasnt a threat

If the cannon starts before the lings hatch then the cannon will finish in time, but if suddenly 6 lings hatch at the same time then the protoss risks getting busted trying to hold his choke with probes until the cannon warps in. The probe being in the zerg base doesn't make it safe, the fact that there is no overlord over the natural checking for a cannon is what makes it a calculated risk. He knows that zerg should assume there is a cannon and so there would be no reason to suddenly make a bunch of lings. Thanks for your comment

In game 1 you said it was rush's fault he didn't build the bunker in range of the sunken but he built bunker first and shine built sunken in response, and put the sunken out of range of the bunker

Really glad that KCM had really worked hard to improve Protoss satisfaction after they gave up on playing two seasons ago with super spoonfeeder maps. I hope Terran also ragequits for a season so we can get some spoonfeeding too!
