All I'm going to say is that I'm lucky that I live so close to CPKC's Windsor Sub. Dan and I caught CPKC pulling out of the yard to set off some freight near the end of the morning at Maitland Street. It was the first run out west past the yard; so we both knew that it would be a while before the train left for Windsor. Dan went home and I went home after a morning out by the tracks.
The good news is that I am only a five minute walk from the tracks and it was a beautiful day. So I kept my eye out for any word that 135 was going to get moving again. Sure enough, three hours later, it finally got a clearance out of town. I made it down to St. George Street with a few minutes to spare before the train passed. It was a slow roll as the train slowly picked up speed; but it was worth that second catch.
