🤣 better late then never right? thank you so much for dropping a comment and coming by my channel! hope you and your family are staying safe during this scary time 🙏🏽❤️😊
I think I'm officially old. You've rediscovered instant coffee and old fashioned 1970 coffee tech lol. Things i used to use growing up. Everything old comes new again just packaged differently i suppose. Nice video. Think ill treat my Mr coffee machine with more love.
This is actually a good idea, I'd recommend getting the water to boiling and turning off the heat source - then putting the K-Cup into the pot and steeping it. Ideally, water temp for coffee should be 195 - 200F. :)
Long story short, our coffe mole has been out of town for four weeks and I had been bringing in coffee from home for the office Bunn. I used method two, and just submerged it in the hot water tap attached. Not bad! I feel Industrial Engineering is your calling.
Nice video! Now I can use my k cup! This has nothing to do with the video, but for those who feel alone, know that God loves you! People of the world are sad, because they have lost hope! God is there through it all! Trust Him! One God! God bless! -Christian Life!
You are welcome, thank you so much for watching my video and leaving such a beautiful comment. Yesterday my grandma passed away and my boyfriend also broke up with me so your message really touched me! Such a beautiful message when I least expected it.
LumpCrab Barnacle thank you so much for your comment. You warmed up my heart! You have no idea how special your comment is to me! 🤗 & love to grandma! Have a bless day!❤️
GREAT VIDEO VERY HELPFUL 😊 I bought a bunch of mocha and hazelnut thinking it was just instant coffee but it turned out to be ALL kcups when I opened the boxes and I DO NOT OWN A KEURIG MACHINE smh hahahaha 😂 THIS VIDEO WAS OF GREAT HELP THANK YOU ❤️ GOD BLESS ❤️
Oh no, lol 🤦🏻♀️ well I’m glad you were able to find my video and that it helped you out! I appreciate your comment so much! God bless ❤️ and happy holidays to you and your love ones 😌🎄
That second coffee looked mad weak, son. If a K-Cup is just boiled water pouring through the plastic filter, why don't you put the filter in a strainer and pour the boiling water over the filter
Or if you have coffee filters just pour k cup into it . Filter into strainer and pour water. Oh go to Dollar Tree and buy Dollar Tree K-Cup refills. Then open your K-Cups importance of those refills and then throw the whole refill in a pot of water bam there you go LOL People never really understand the struggles of a coffee aficionado
Right girl lol ima have to check out the dollar tree selection. Because at time k cups can be kinda pricy! Thank for the comment girl & for watching my video!
Thanks a bunch for this. I just ordered a bunch of kcups because im usually always on the move as an EMT and carrying a French press and a bag of Black Rifle Coffee with me everywhere doesn't look or feel right, and Kcups are more portable lol. It occurred to me that I might mot be able to find kureg machines in every hospital I go to, and I wanted to find out how to do without them. This was really helpful!
Thank you so much for watching my video! I'm really glad this information helped you out especially since your always on the go & don't have access at times to a machine! Trick is just hot water!
For sure! Since microwaves aren't always an option for me, 80% of all of my lunches are also driven by hot water, since almost every nursing home or hospital I go to has a hot plate or a hot water dispenser. I tried this trick out at work once and a couple of times at home and it works great. This is the perfect trick for making my days go by faster. ^_^
How would I go about making the Starbucks vanilla sweeted ice coffee?? I've never had a keurig machine but my dad likes to bring me random things he finds on sale and brought me some.. Should I just do it the same and then pour over ice?
What an awesome dad. I don't see why that wouldn't work! I'd give it a shot it's all about experimenting. Thank you for watching hope it works for you. (:
Thank you so much for watching! Lol I’m just not much of a strong coffee drinker my coffees always have some type of creamer and sweetener haha 🙈💕 appreciate the love 😊
@@MZFiVETW000H haha dont get me wrong it's still decent that way😂 I got a bunch of kureg hot cider and used your video so I dont have to spend like 100+ dollars for a new one🙄
Omg you literally saved my life 😘 I wanted k-cups but didn't had the coffee machine sad story lol but I went and got my k-cups I can drink coffee without the machine thank you so much 💖
+denisse hernandez Woohoo girl that's great news! Those machines always tend to jack up :/ Have had some bad experiences! Even if i clean them and I need my coffee!
The ones with the filters are always harder since not much coffee is in there. I was thinking I’d you wanna use it you can probably open the amount you need and put it in a regular coffee pot.
I just peel the coffee foil off and pour into filter basket. I have a cheap Bella machine that came with both single serve ground coffee basket and k cup basket. I have also cut off plastic around ground coffee pod and let it steep in a microwaved cup of hot steamy water. No need to boil over stove. Cappuccinos you actually drink what’s inside the k cup. So hot water in a cup, peel off cappuccino k cup foil, pour cappuccino mix into hot water cup, stir, and enjoy.
Sorry for the late response. The 1st k cup is like powder. There are no grounds. It's more of a sweet coffee kinda like a cappuccino. So you can just mix it in boiling water. Hopefully this helps you :) makes you feel less confused. Thank you for watching!
my dumbass keurig broke or sum now it don’t work after not even 3 months of using it. THANK YOU I HAVE SO MANY UNUSED KCUPS. (a tip too to make a cold brew it to dump three k cup coffee grounds into a cup of boiling hot water, let it sit for a min or two, then add two cups of cold water in it then stir it around. pour the whole thing in a container and cover it, and place it in you fridge over night and bam! homemade cold brew! [btw stain the cold brew before drinking it])
No way 🤦🏻♀️ that really sucks especially how these machines are expensive too! YOUR SO WELCOME! hopefully your able to use them all. thank you so much for the tip I’m gonna try it out 😋 appreciate your comment and also for watching my video! ❤️
I really don't get it. The whole point of K-cups is convenience, and there is nothing convenient about tearing a K-Cup apart, boiling water, then making coffee with the grounds inside. If your K-cup machine breaks down, and you don't want to buy another one, just give the K-cups to a friend who has a working machine. Then buy..... ground coffee and make your coffee some other way. You will save a ton of money by buying ground coffee in a large bag rather than spending 50 cents the tiny bit (typically, around 14 grams) of coffee grounds in a K-cup.
I bought my dad a Keurig machine for Father's Day and I bought a couple of K-Cups for myself because why not only to find out he returned it for a regular coffee machine so now I have a ton of K-Cups that can't be used. Thank you so much for this video! Now I can finally use my K-Cups!!
+Sonia Ali Idk what it is with parents but they can never let go of the old fashion coffee machine jeje glad this video was able to help you :) sorry for late reply wasn't able to see my messages!
you won the first prize of capsule & K-cup use ... so simple... You should compete for Nobel prize .... buying a capsule 10 times the price of bulk coffee .. to use a cup as bulk ???
So basically the pods are instant coffee? I tried this and it works! The only difference is I boiled mine in microwave. I don't even need this machine! smh.
Pretty much besides the ones that have coffee in it. after all these years I still don’t use Kcups. lol just a regular coffee machine or my expresso machine. kcups are so expensive too! thank you for your comment 😊❤️
Awesome thank you! I recently was given a couple CASES of k cups and looked at the prices of the makers and was like... I'll stick it in my ninja coffee maker. :P
Thank you so much for watching my video, glad it could help you! I bet your ninja coffee maker is awesome! yum! can’t wait for the morning to have my coffee lol appreciate your comment so much 😊 stay safe! 🙏🏽
I think the main reason they tell you not to put holes in the K-Cups is so that they can make more money! I don't pay any mine to the label on The K-cups my self had Bella one cup coffee make put a K-cup look like in form the dollar part if a local store and had a mess everywhere! Couldn't get clean form all the coffee grounds😱
the other reason is if theres a hole in it when it's brewing in the keurig machine, then it won't always give all your coffee/tea/chocolate/whatever, and i imagine could mess it up.
I’m not much of a coffee person so your right when it comes to that won’t argue with that lol I love Starbucks teas! Thank you for watching my video and for commenting.
I got the Mocha latte without knowing i have to buy a coffee machine for brewing the espresso.... i dont know how to make it. I am using the gevalia mocha latte
how did it turn out? thank you so much for watching my video appreciate it! sorry for late response also running a small business so it gets hectic 🙈 hope you are well 😌
You are the first person. Other then myself that I have found who has had this crazy water holder not sucking the water in the Kerige right. I have been though more of these Kerige then I care to talk about.
I called I don't know how many times to get it fixed with their support but nothing fixed the situations :/ had to just throw my machine out. Thank you for commenting and watching my video!
i don’t even use it anymore at all. Just use my coffee maker or expresso machine (without those pods) it’s the way to go. K-Cups are so over priced now a days!
So for all that, coffee in the pod is little different from instant coffee. Good to know. So use it like you would instant coffee! I made the mistake of buying hot chocolate pods (Swiss Miss) and wasn't sure what to do. I simply opened the cup and poured the contents over my coffee in the filter and pouyred water and made a reasonable cup of hot chocolate with coffee! But I could just as easily pour the cup of chocolate into a cup and then pour coffee over that and get the same product.
Exactly! Those Swiss miss hot chocolates you can just dump it in with some hot water. There’s nothing like your traditional coffee pot right? Thank you for watching and also for dropping a comment! Happy thanksgiving to you & to your family! God bless 💕
Swapnil Kangralkar ahhhh no way! You can’t take it back? That’s so unfair! Well glad this video was able to help you out! Thank you for watching and leaving a comment much appreciated 😊💛
Great video, good thinking. I'm helpless in kitchen, one of your fans said boil the H2O in microwave, good, if I pour the H2O over the cup how long do I wait? And sorry if it's a dumb question.
I like your strategies. Going to try this tomorrow morning. My Keurig machine is getting pretty old and is barely filling my coffee mug. I ran vinegar through it several times and that didn't help much. I then opened up the machine to get to the plumbing on the suction side of the pump and on the hot water discharge side on top. I was looking for blockages but found none. Put machine back together and it is the same. I am toying with run a product called CLR through it to descale the plumbing. The company CLR doen;t recommend running their product through Keurig machines but at this point I've nothing to lose. CLR is basically Phosphoric acid. It is in Coca-cola. So, what the heck. I'll give this a shot. `1
Ahhhh I totally relate I didn’t the descale over and over and nothing took the machine apart too lol cut a few things they said it work but didn’t work at all. I think what bummed me out was he machine fairly new and we descaled it all the time. the coffees that don’t have filters are completely fine works good the ones with the filters are always trick you can also dump those in a French press I’ve been wanting to get one of those. wishing you luck and thank you so much for watching my video and dropping comment 💛 I hope it helps & stay safe during this crazy times in life.
you are so welcome! I’m glad my video was able to help you out! thank you so much for dropping a comment. hope you are staying safe during this crazy time in life 🙏🏽💛
oh no lol those are usually just powder lol just dump it in a cup of hot water. and BAM hot chocolate lol hopefully it works out 😌❤️ thank you for watching my video and for dropping a comment.
@MZFiVETW000H Another thing I do is also take off the foil on the K-Cup but put the coffee in a #2 paper cone filter. You will only use 1 cup of hot water. I have a Melitta Pour-Over 1-Cup Brew plastic Cone, which sits over any size the cup, next place the filter #2 in the brew cone and pours the hot water on the coffee and waits for the water drip slowly into the cup. When using any K-cups it is the only 8oz=1 cup of coffee, which is a single cup of coffee. Then you lift the plastic cone to see if that is enough of coffee that you want in your cup. It will work with regular coffee in a packet or coffee in a can you just need to measure out 1 Tablespoon of coffee and boil 6oz of water. Then add your creamer & sugar. When making loose tea I will use 1 Tablespoon of loose tea & 8oz of hot water then I will set a timer and let to steep for 3-5 mins means that it will sit and start to turn darker. I hope this helps you.
I love to give free advice on the similar stuff that I use to . But I love your hack of the Starbucks K-Cup, taking scissors and cutting the bottom off. Now, that is clever. Thanks for that. MZFiVETW000H ;}
ahhh I know I really need to get one. especially since I like the water to be super hot! thank you for checking out my channel and also for dropping a comment ❤️
thank you so much for watching my video! the powder ones are usually the easiest especially when you have hot water. hope you had a good Christmas! 💚❤️🎄 God bless & stay safe!
Had to login to say that I absolutely love you! So gorgeous; you look like my ex, but charming! Gorgeous, charming, and you reply to the comments for the video! Marry me; I'll get you a new Keurig machine!
Well unplug the machine dry it out descale it and let the machine dry out I did that with mine and it worked but it mean unplugging it a day or 2 to a week.
ahhh your so lucky, I did that with mine but it didn’t work /: did it a few times too. I guess it’s a hit or miss with it. Glad yours is working 😌 hopefully your comment can help other people. appreciate your comment & you watching my video ❤️
sorry for the late reply, yes! the ones without the filters are the easiest. the other ones that had the regular filters I just cut them up and put the grounds in a regular coffee pot. hope you have an amazing day ❤️
True, I'm only here because someone brought a pack of Kcups to me because she thought as a coffee maniac I would own one of those Keurig machines. Need to find use for these little shit cups, because just treating it like a pour-over leaves disgusting brownish residue at the bottom, and the taste is like fake watered down milk.
Hey, love how you’re talking about “real coffee” this and that, however it’s clearly not the point lol the point is using K Cups without a machine... I️ don’t go on Turkish coffee videos and talk about how expensive or smelly it is lol (different strokes for different folks)
Thanks for the info...good to know just in case! Anybody out there know how to use the coffee pot side of the Keurig Duo (not the k cup side) to make cups (stick your cup under there instead of the pot) I tried it but I end up having to use my finger to open the spout where the coffee comes out (which normally the pot would do) it seems like it would be easier than fooling with self fill k cups (just stick the coffee in the big filter and put your cup under there) only thing is like I said you have to hold the spout open and since the smallest amount it makes is 6 cups (meant for the pot)...so after the cup fills you have to catch the remainder in another container. Only reason I want to do this is to fill a 15 oz. cup (which the k cup wont do) and this would enable me to make it as strong as I would like. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
ahhh I know I’ve gone through two of them 🙈 and didn’t last me long no matter how much I cleaned them. thank you for watching my video and for dropping a comment 💜 appreciate you!
sorry didn’t understand your question. these kcups I already had since my machine broke. so I was just putting them to use. sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to make it work. or else they would just sit on my shelf and expire.
Good question, I’m not sure if the box has an example on it. I know all the cafe escapes are powder. Starbucks are mostly filers. Green mountain is the same. Hope this helps a little
oh no well at least you can use them. especially if it doesn’t have the filter those are the easiest with just hot water! hope you and your family had a good Christmas! 🎄💚❤️
@@MZFiVETW000H Ya ,they were latte.I cut open the capsule and it was without filter.I did as you did ,I mixed it with hot water. It tasted nice and creamy.
THANK YOU SO MUCH (I don’t normally all-cap because I don’t like looking crazy, but I feel the situation warrants it). My roommate moved out and took her Keurig with her, so now I’m left with a big box of kcups that I thought I couldn’t use. Your method totally works! Again, thank you SO much ♥️♥️♥️
Hi Adriana 😌💜 the 1st kcup is just powder so basically warm water works the 2nd one a little more tricky because it has coffee grounds so you can’t just dump it in like the 1st. Thank you for watching my video and for leaving a message. Happy Holidays!
***** Thank you so much for the tips, and yeah its so much cheaper to do it like you explained too! All that machine does is heat water! Thanks again :) hope your having a great week!
