It is legally and morally wrong for the KDF soldiers to draw and bear arms against unarmed civilians. The current problem in Kenya is a political one, not a military one, instigated by one man and his side kicks. To bear military grade weapons including light tanks and APC to intimidate unarmed civilian population is a demonstration of the fact that the country has reached a point where the president is scared of his people. This means he is aware that the public has no confidence in him, and so he seeks to hide behind the soldiers. In a situation such as this one, Ruto should recognise the reality of his situation and do the honourable thing to resign, pack up and go back home. For how long is he going to hide behind the soldiers?
