Been wanting to get one of these expensive tiny Japanese bathroom air exchangers for awhile now. Here is a KDK exhaust fan, model 10EGKA.
Well it's not exactly Japanese as it is actually made in Thailand, but it's definitely got quite a heavy influence on fans that are often seen in bathrooms in homes all across Japan. This fan has 3 deeply pitched fan blades that are spun by an overpowered induction motor. Similar to its 5" counterpart( • Panasonic 5" Exhaust Fan ), it makes a bit of a hoover-ish sound, but still managing to be relatively quiet, and moving a great big amount of air for a fan this small.
This fan was actually given to me. My uncle had replaced it with a CKE industrial exhaust fan( • CKE 6" Industrial Exha... ) early last year, and this fan sat unused on an open box, collecting dust. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with it, maybe just put it on display or something.
Made in Thailand
