Honestly, the early 2010's were the worst era of pop music. I see how you could miss it in a nostalgic way, I do aswell, but pop music was trash at that particular moment. People were going crazy about autotune and didn't know how to use it properly. This gave birth to some abominations like Wiz Khalifa, Jason Derulo, Soulja Boy, Ludacris, Pitbull, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, 1D, and so on. I don't want to sound like I hate pop music because I don't, but let's be real, those are some of the worst to ever exist. Their music was straight up obnoxious.

I went to see Kesha live in Park City Utah after being invited by a friend who was Filming her for her Mtv reality show at the time. I got to go back stage and was lucky enough to meet Kesha before the show! She was so gorgeous and gentle and sweet and she gave me one of the best hugs I’ve ever received in my life! I love and cherish her so much!!! ❤

I agree and I got to live it as a kid. I was 12 in middle school when this song came out. They played it at dances at my school. Good times, no Covid, no conflict on gays, no political conflicts either. It I had the chance to live it again, I’d do it. Great time of my life. I sound like my dad with his generation.
