In the city of Baltimore, Gigi Haim (Ginnifer Goodwin) is a single woman hoping to find a soul mate at her age. But always run aground in love. Annoyed by a failed date, Gigi entertains herself with coffee at Alex's shop. Alex advises Gigi that men mean what they do or don't do. And Gigi had to stop thinking that she was an exception to this man. Love suggestions from Alex, form a very unique friendship. From late night phone calls, helpful dating advice, awkward truths, and even more awkward moments between them. But Gigi turns out to be a woman who reads more signs than reality. Gigi, who begins to take an interest in Alex, is slow to realize that, Alex is a man with no sensitivity and is often a commitment phobia. Alex, who thinks of Gigi as just a friend, continues to push her to find the ideal date. Meanwhile, Gigi could only confide in her best friend, that she wished Alex had more feelings for her. Her friends say that Alex is not an attractive man to commit to. As their friendship continues, Gigi interprets Alex's helpfulness as a sign that Alex is interested in her. Gigi doesn't mind helping Alex advance his coffee shop business. Until finally, Gigi was determined to express her love for Alex. But Alex refused, and instead assumed Gigi had ignored his advice. Gigi, who is brokenhearted, returns to vent to her best friend, and regrets not hearing her best friend's opinion about Alex. Alex and Gigi's relationship became strained, and Gigi now rarely stopped by Alex's shop. Alex who is now a little unsteady after Gigi's departure, begins to realize that something is missing in his life. A female friend, reprimanded Alex and asked where Gigi who had been close to Alex had been. The friend said that Alex was actually currently in love, but was embarrassed to admit it. The friend suggests that Alex should go find Gigi, before regretting finding Gigi falling into another man's arms. The friend forces Alex to realize how much Gigi influenced him in such a short time, and how important it is to have someone like Gigi in Alex's life. If you just realized what I just realized, then we will be perfect for each other, and we will never find the other. Alex seemed to realize his mistake, and tried to contact Gigi. But Gigi never answered. Gigi, who is trying to move on from her broken heart, begins to open her heart to other men. And accepted a date from a single guy her age. After the date, Gigi found a knock on her apartment door. It turned out that the one present was Alex. Gigi felt awkward about how to behave to Alex. But Alex immediately melted the ice of the atmosphere. Alex said that he apologized to Gigi for his statement at that time. Alex realizes that he can't forget Gigi, and Gigi has meant so much to his life. His life has changed since he met Gigi. Alex felt too proud to admit his feelings. All the love advice that Alex gave was just a theory, because he was just looking for easy rules. But Gigi is an exception for Alex. Alex confessed his love and Gigi was deeply moved. They finally kiss. The End.

Did anyone notice GiGi said 'nice to meet you' at the end which is known to mean at the end of the date 'I do not wish to see you again' at the start of the movie.
hah, I hadn't noticed that. But when I was doing a lot of online dating, if I ended a date with "It was really great to meet you." I definitely did not want to go out with him again LOL.

I dont usually like romantic comedies at all but this is a scene resonates with me. I often kept people at a distance not just girls but i met my girlfriend as a friend and giving her advice.
My mother and I love this movie. I often wait around for this scene and song to come across. I love the song and this scene too dearly. Really gives you so much feels, doesn't it? This movie with Ginny and Justin really works very well. However, do not end up as Bradley at the start of this.
So she is his muse... for ideas, and for connection, and for quips.... Everything that she has touched upon before, and that is a part of her... he has it.... as part of his work. So she does have a lot of influence over him then. And it feeds into their actual... analytics.... and part of their careers.... and respread out. While the green bond thing keeps going on....
love this movie... I want someone like Alex!!! what is the name of this movie every time I watch it on HBO it's already halfway never get to see the begining... I'm defenatly gonna buy this movie and a big tub of icecream!!!
