Y'know, this day and age, I feel like that's everyone's problem: that they just... can't. They can't continue fighting tooth and nail everyday just to hold on to what they have, albeit in their own respective ways. That isn't excluding people like me either, who, even though they haven't reached the starting line, feel like they're already finished. But like us younger people, who have our own lives ahead of us, you and people suffering like you should continue moving forward. Things are bound to turn upwards eventually, though I can only hope. My fiance and I would dance under the stars listening to this, I lost her in a car crash the year after this came out. I cant help but tear up everytime I hear it, sometimes on purpose. This reminds me of my older brother... who passed away on August 29, 2019. In the morning hours, I woke up at 5:30 in the morning, went to his room to wake him up, but what I found was him having a heart attack while asleep. I called my dad and we tried to revive him but it was too late... and that was the last time he'll be with us... We have so many memories, dreaming together... But then I realized that despite what happened, we all have our own destinies. Goodbye, my brother, I hope you'll always be happy.

This song isn’t really a sad song tbh, this feels more like a song wrote because of memory. Our most valuable asset. We are wanting to get older and more mature. But when we stop to think for once we realize we took for granted the good times.
