Keanu is a huge inspiration to me. I am an actor and a veteran; over 50 years old. Sometimes I think to myself "I'm too old to be doing this shit" then I see Keanu in action and it motivates me. Even more than my Drill Sergeants did when I was in the US Army because he's OVER 50 - I'm exactly 50 years old. Never let anyone or anything (including your age) stop you from doing what you love.

It took multiple injuries (including gun-shots) to put down each guy; except one guy who - if I remember correctly - was taken out with a single rifle-round to the head! By the time that the 'Lone Survivor' was taken in by the villagers, the list of his injuries was just *insane!* Or check out the video (with narration) of the 'First Medal Of Honor Captured On Video' or 'First Medal Of Honor Ever Recorded' ... his autopsy showed enough wounds to have ordinarily killed at least 3 or 4 guys!

I truly think with Reeves, it is the love of the film, the passion and love of the character itself. It is just not going to the gym, etc., then go in front of the camera... It is all the sequences, moves, gun shots, tossing of bodies, etc. How much he loves being that character💙💙💋

I love how you don't just think of him for his acting skills... you think of him for his commitment to the unique physicality of it. Several thousand hours of prep, if what's shown here is to be believed. Some of what Tom Cruise does it absolutely nuts. But it's like a fraction of the work Keanu puts in to deliver this larger-than-life character in this later career phase. It's probably not unlike training for special forces. Some folks talk about spoiled rich movie stars... but think about getting a role like this and having to do this amount of training.

He's been doing it a long time he already had martial arts training from other films like the matrix and some people go to do target practice just for fun anyway it's pretty hard to do something consistently for years and not become an expert. It's all for show though just choreographed.
