Keas playing 

This video was recorded in Rainbow Valley, Marlborough New Zealand on Nov 8 2014. The kea is an alpine parrot, intelligent and playful. The keas (mother and daughter?) are playing on a "kea gym" created by the Department of Conservation. They are communicating with other keas in the surrounding bush. It's tiring work! There may be only 5000 keas left in the world - this was a special experience, and thanks to my iPhone I can share it with you.
