and how to reach sankari village. The Kedarkantha Trek is known for its easy winter trek suitable for everybody. The availability of snow till the end of March makes it popular. It is known for its wonderful snow-covered campsites and frozen lake Juda ka Talab. Every campsite is crafted for adventure and has something unique to offer. As you cross the 10,000 feet you will float through snow land and white-crowned Pine trees.
In this video you will know about how we reach kedarkantha basecamp and how we did kedarkantha summit. Kedarkantha is a really good trek for beginners in any season. A lot of our first time trekkers are able to do the Kedarkantha trek if they prepare themselves mentally and physically. It starts at an altitude of 6,400 ft at and climbs to 12,500 ft at Kedarkantha peak. This means there is an altitude gain of 6,300 ft over the first three days of the trek. In addition, although this trek has all the components of an easy trek, the aspect of Kedarkantha which makes it a moderate trek is its summit climb. The summit climb is long, steep and if you are doing it from the Sankri side is also tricky - especially in the last stretch. If you are not fit, you will struggle on the trek. when we did this trek in last stretch we were face storm on peak and storm will make this summit was so difficult.
so when you plan for kedarkantha trek you prepare yourself physically as well as mentally also.
