The name of his old band is called Noice. It's a swedish happy-punk sort of band. Like old Green Day but more rooted in classic rock. I know the current guitarist. A really nice guy!
Btw, he is very open about his "demons" is this interview, and they are well behind him at this stage. He's grown up, and he's found the love of his life. He's still not on talking terms with Europe (sadly), but he bumped into John Norum recently. They're on good speaking terms:-) KM is still doing gigs with his old bands, like Noize....or Noice?
I am only 26 years so I wasn't around at the time but that seems very right. If I google "OKEJ and Noice" things do come up! Noice is not a big band today but they do shows and since they have catchy songs and many "older" want the nostalgia I think they can get a quite big audience. Not "Europe" big.. but enough for a real show :)

"Being Swedishly challenged".....LOL!!! As you may know, if you're from a Scandinavian country you understand Swedish, Danish and Norwegian. Since I'm from Norway, I understand all he's saying;-) Nice chap, but as so many rock musicians he has fought his personal demons. Thank God he came out all right, but a lot of his friends died of drugs;-/
