The truth is nobody really took puffy that serious. South side ended up killing Pac regardless and figured why not try and collect on what puffy said. The incidents were virtually unrelated. FACTS 1ST Tavon wasn't his friend, that was Suge's muscle who was certified in Compton. None of them were his friends they were hired muscle to handle Suge's light work. PAC swung on a certified killer in Baby Lane without realizing retaliation was coming. A situation that woulda been handled in LA by Tavon, Buntry, Herron & co. PAC had 0 reason to get involved in shit he had no part of cuz in the end it was Tavon who got his chain back the same day Baby Lane tried to take it from him in Feb 1996. PAC had 0 involvement in Southside vs Mob activity
