I feel like this is younger Keefe before he finally decided to not give a- about anything people expected or wanted him to be. He honestly such a role-model for people in manipulative situations. Yes he does dumb stuff sometimes, but it’s only to protect other people. In the end he still hates himself and covers it up with a smile. so I think that the first verse is younger keefe about his parents, the rap part would be current keefe about his parents, and the older singing part is keefe thinking about sophie. but 2:11 is keefe to sophie during unlocked. 3:05 is keefe to everyone after he leaves.
