Keegan has definitely made good pass reads and executed them, it just hasn’t been often at all lol. He is especially adept in transition as he showed in college. I care more about him improving as an iso scorer than the playmaking
100%. I do think it’ll all come together. It’s all on mindset. Your agressiveness is what makes u move up tiers. Haliburton had the same issue in Sac. He got so much more aggressive in Indy and is now a 20&12 guy. Now they want him to be even more aggressive in order to reach that 1st option status. Same thing with Keegan. He had plenty of opportunities last season to average 20 if he wanted to. Especially when Fox & Malik went down. He would do this thing where he would give the ball to Domas and stand in a corner. He needs to demand the ball and go get his bucket. He has an elite 3 & middy. He does need to improve his handle and finishing but it’s actually not terrible especially for a wing. He has the tools to be a Paul George type player instead of an OG Anunoby. It’s all on his aggression and touching up his self creation skills.
People think DeRozen is important but the Kings are going to go where Murray is gonna take them. He has to elevate his game in year 3, he has to become that perfect third wing to their team, because if he's not the Kings might miss the playoffs and they might lose DeAaron Fox
Consistency is what is lacking, Keegan this Keegan that is cool to talk about ,but his game is so inconsistent the kid disappears and it takes him like three games to get him to start scoring again …. Dude gets way way to deep into his head when he misses so that is a fragile point of his game and that is why we should have shipped him for a tried and true wing cause fox and Sabonis are in there prime and we can’t wait 4 years for Keegan to be a consistent player.
I laugh everytime someone says some dumb shit like this. He’s in his second year and not many players make a jump as big as he did from rookie to sophomore year. If u think they shoulda traded him. Name that player, that makes sense for both teams and his BETTER than keegan Murray? Kings literally lack guys like keegan and there’s not many in the league that’s his height , wingspan, work ethic, and 3-D of his caliber . You out here thinking Sabonis and Fox is 34 years old 😂 do u not realize nba players primes are longer than what it use to be ?
I like Keegan and understand his placement on the list but to me it feels somewhat inevitable Cam Whitmore will pass him up. 4 years is a lot and I think he’s too good and strong/athletic to not force the issue and become a star at somepoint. Keegan is very good but will he ever be as good or better than OG Anunoby as a role player? I doubt it but Whitmore has the upside to fly past that
@@Weather_Nerd At Cam’s age Keegan hadn’t even played a game yet at Iowa. 😴 If you want but I’m betting on the upside of the barely 20yr old 6’7 240lbs man child freak athlete who can also shoot. I’m not hating on Keegan but he’s a very good role player at best
