This is our first year without heat in our coop. We went with the deep bedding method and they all seem to be happy with it. It has been very cold lately (Northern Michigan) so I go out several times a day to make sure their water isn't frozen and gather eggs.

boy, yo chicks are not getting enof sun light, which means ur daily egg harvest is not that impressive as it could be. yes. im a pro farmer with no farm.

It's wild the Facebook groups I'm in every fall go on and on about theories that the chicken foods ruining their egg count. I look outside and go uhh it's dark people. Lol
