@@ritik251 Since octane is a GPU renderer people set up "Graphic card farms" also called "Renderfarms" where they use many GPU's at the same time to render really quickly. So as the description says, 30 graphics cards was used for this project
Thanks for the comments guys. I'm happy that you liked this little thing. Love you. I thought the paper shader would be a nice addition to my procedural shaders collection. You can get it here: sellfy.com/p/pwZb/
I was going to say that the compositing was unreal, but didn't realize it was completely modeled! Absolutely amazing work! Can't believe how realistic everything looks!
Me too! I thought there was lots of After Effects going on, like most workflows nowadays... But all i could see was the C4D interface and some Houdini! This guy is a genius, bro! Wow!
Well done! I wondered from the beginning if you used Houdini :D! It is great to see what you are able to accomplish inside of C4D. Normally people tell me to focus on Maya/3Ds and don't get into C4D, because you can't do photo realistic stuff in it. Well, After this video I might get my hands on C4D. Thanks!
Philipp Bakendire I’m working with the new C4d r20 “ Studio” version and it’s amazing! Anything is possible I feel , however you have to know what your looking for!
@@HatPhotograph Yeah! If you are a freelancer, it does not matter. Its only about creating a great result. But if you're working in a studio you of course have to work with their software and fit in. Its difficult picking a program because you don't know if you are going to be worthless in a studio because they simply don't use it. Since I want to be a compositor its alright. Do you want to become a 3D artist?
@@rdrdrd7777 I believe you. I feel like C4D is like After effects. 1.) Its user-friendly 2.) There are lot of tutorials out there for them, so a rather comfortable start. 3.) You can create really professional renders, if you know how to use them properly. But they are not the industry standard, so you probably feel like you have to let go sooner or later. That's what I experienced with AE.
As someone who’s eyes are used to seeing a lot of CG,this is the first time I’ve been fooled in a while...i thought only the buildings and laptop were CG comped on a live action plate...way to go man
The technicality, optimization, processing power, drive you have for knowledge...all superb! But you have an elegance to your work ...Thanks for sharing !! Again ! :)
I absolutely love your work, Andrey. I had a hard week behind me but your videos cheer me up and reminds me to never give up. Greetings from Germany, Hamburg!
U.... You Are The Meaning Of VFx, CGi_ I'm Stunned by Watching Your Work. That Absolutely Your Personal Project. Oh God!! "Andrey Lebrov the King of Quality Content in RU-vid Kingdom".
Молодец, Андрей! У тебя всегда всё красиво! Всё на нодах для автоматизации процесса , хорошо моделируешь . Красиво демонстрируешь свой продукт . Поздравляю !!!
Absolutely stunning work. Really cool to see the Houdini - C4D workflow in action too! I'm just getting started with Houdini for this purpose. The only thing that gave the animation away as "fake" or "definitely 3D" for me was the laptop surface - it looks far too smooth with no smudging or imperfections on it. In my opinion that is. Other then that though, amazing stuff. That paper shader is awesome!
Ive been following you since you create your channel. It inspires me a lot, you shared your knowledge and insights. It drives me to become professional vfx artist one day, although i have limited tools to practice.
