This song hits hard. My friend had just passed away last night. We were friends for three years before becoming more. But later on, we got off on friendly terms. She found a guy and after just two months later, she was gone from, what it seems, a drug overdose. I haven't been told what exactly happened, but not having closure right away makes it hurt so much. She suffered three heart attacks prior to what happened, along with being brought back after being pronounced dead. Though, when the second time it happened, she couldn't be saved. I still had leftover feelings for her that I never got to tell her. She never got to celebrate Christmas or New Years with her family and friends. Every time I think of her, I can't help but sob. Sadly, she couldn't hold on anymore. It didn't work out perfectly. But her memory will forever make it through and stay strong, 'cause her friends and family are here for her, even if she isn't here to see it.
Hits me hard too ,I had a friend die of cancer she never told me that the cancer came back I didn't know until it was too late. On top of that, I was going through cancer at the same time.
