Thank you and thanks for watching too! I'm surprised you stuck around to watch equipment repair. It seems most of our sheep viewers don't tune into the equipment side of the farm as far as videos go. Thank you for watching and commenting!

I was doing the service on our johndeere 2240 all new fluids and filters. Im glad to see that I'm not the only one that needs a screw driver to pry off the bracket for the fuel filter. The fuel filter was also right behind the loader frame which is stupid and a pain in the butt

Glad to see we're not the only ones that take preventative maintenance serious. Our 8030 is a pain to change oil filters and fuel filter on because of the loader brackets, fortunately they are spin on filters on it at least but still rough. The 7000 is as easy as it comes though.

@@FreedomFarmsMo yep. We change change the oil and fuel filters one a year and blow out their air filters a lot. every other year is when it gets everything unless it does not have many hours on it. Everything also gets power washed once a year too. We grease each implement before use like the hay equipment gets greased every morning before use. It saves time and money plus its takes like 20 min and a couple hundred bucks for an oil change

@@O.KFarmToysdeutzallis6275 we are right there with ya except the power washing happens often with us

@@FreedomFarmsMo cool! What power washer you got? We have a work force pro with a Honda motor on it. It will take the paint off if you’re not careful. Also you want to do a video of your equipment and your toy tractors

@@O.KFarmToysdeutzallis6275 we use a hotsy type pressure washer. It is a 4000 psi steam washer essentially. It is a 240v electric motor. We love it. You can get everything clean with minimal pressure with the heat. I don't really have any toy tractors, the one I do have though isn't likely to be in any videos any time soon truthfully

Someone told me there are vehicles now days that don't even have dip sticks to check the oil. If that's true, they have really made it so you can't do your own PM's

I don't know if that is true for the engines. I do know it is true for transmissions unfortunately. It is like that on my wife's 2017 Cadillac Escalade. You unfortunately have to go under the vehicle and remove the full plug to check the level on the transmission. It's inconvenient but not impossible.
